Cool, I didn't realize the newest Dead Fantasys (the ones previewed at this years Fanime) were being released on gametrailers starting today and over the next few weeks. So, a high res version without dorky dorks oohing and ahing in the background is out:
Hmm, DF3 is mostly the same from what was previewed. I guess there's a new bit at the end, featuring Helena(!), and explaining where all those Kasumi clones in the fourth installment came from. It still looks cool in HD though.
Oh, over the break I got a few books. One was "The Reader's Guide to the Legend of Drizzt". Its a pretty nice little guide to that whole story universe, though it only goes up to the Sea of Sword. But it does acknowledge the rest of the series at the end. I can't believe there have been more than 20 books (though I'm counting the Clerical Quintet, because there is some crossover there). But yeah, its interesting to get some faces to go with names, and imagery of certain locals.
I actually didn't pick up the latest book when it came out, though the soft cover was released and I saw it in Wal-Mart for like $5, so I picked that up and am currently reading it. Some pretty radical changes they've been doing in these last few books.
