So [livejournal.com profile] clevemire pointed this site out to me- The 25 Poses Asian Girls do when taking pictures. While the chyx they show do look ridiculously mad cute (how that differs from wicked mad cute, I don't know yet!), they also look ridiculous. Who poses like that? Well, obviously asian girls, but some of those poses are so strange!

Exalted talk: I've finally gotten up to the Infernal charms. Solars, Abyssals, and GSPs are pretty much the same, save for the GSPs charm set. As said before, the charms aren't based off certain skills, but the Yozi they follow. While the 5 architects of the Reclamation (who came up with turning solar exaltations into the GSPs and taught the Neverborn how to make DKs) each chose a certain caste (Malfeas got the Dawns, Cecelyne the Zenith, She Who Lives in Her Name the Twilights, Adjoran the Nights, and the Ebon Dragon the Eclipses) as their, well "chosen", the exaltations are somewhat shared. So, the Slayers (the Dawn/Dusk equivalent, i.e. the Warriors) are the chosen of Malfeas, but when creating such a character, Malfeas need not be the character's patron and can choose another Yozi to get their favored charms from. And it needn't be the other 4. While the book only covers those 5, other Yozi have joined the Reclamation cause (well Kimberey was there from the beginning, but did not contribute as much as the others). The ST is free to come up with charms fitting with the theme of the other Yozi.

But yeah, I think I've said in a previous post how their excellencies work differently. For one, their excellencies are more expensive essence wise, as well as experience wise. You have to re-get the same excellency as many times as your essence (i.e., you need to buy the First excellency twice at essence two, and when you hit essence three, you need to buy the charm again). But it evens out since the excellency can be applied more broadly rather than for just one particular skill. As long as the action taken fits in with the theme of the Yozi they get it for, the excellency applies. Plus, you're not limited to the excellency of your Yozi Patron, you can actually get the excellencies for each one so you're covered for all sorts of situations, but it gets cost prohibitive. For the most part, these Yozi themes do fit certain player archetypes- i.e., the straight forward, kill everything approach (Malfeas), speed and unpredictablity (Adjoran), trickery and manipulation (The Ebon Dragon), etc. So the GSP player will most likely be able to use the excellency in more situations for its cost, while the Solar/DK may have to get excellencies for several skills to approach the same level of versatility.

As for actual charms, again, they're not based on particular skills but the purview of a particular Yozi. I'm only a third of the way through the first Yozi covered, Malfeas, so I'm gonna reserve analysis on the differences for now. But I do wanna say its a specialization vs versatility thing.
