TV Commentary:
In Plain Sight- What the hell, first Hannah from Everwood was on this past week's Numbers as a midwestern runaway turned Baltar cultist (And how hilarious is it that they had Baltar playing another dude with a cult full of young hotties, only his character had a Southern accent instead of an English one?), then here she's this orthodox Jewish wife, and both times I totally didn't recognize her until I saw her name in the credits. I guess its the lack of glasses. Heh, and it turns out Will from West Wing is the richest man in Albuquerque? That's hilarious, especially when he asked her out and Brandy basically accidentally makes herself sound like a huge slut?
I'm surprised they didn't relocate the guy. I mean, yeah, they didn't want to separate him from his pregnant wife, but wouldn't the Albanians soon learn the wife is missing from NYC and she's in Albuquerque? Its not like she's in witness protection, so the hospital knows who she is.
HIMYM- Ah, so the mother is gonna end up being one of his students? Pervert! And the Goat story is him getting beat up by a goat? The leap thing was insane though. Yeah, its only a six or seven foot leap, but a 5 or 6 story drop if you miss. They could've died! And how the hell were they gonna get back? Go down through the building? If it had a hot tub, doesn't that mean its someone's private patio? So they're practically breaking in to someone's place.
But Robin finds out, and she tries to "Mosby" him to freak him out of it. But now its out in the open, and they don't know what to do about it (But Barney says she's worth the trouble!), but they'll figure it out. Interesting. Oh, and why the hell is a girl fresh off the bus from Iowa at Ted's surprise party?
And apparently this ep was filmed before the eps after Lily leaves because she's angry at Barney's joke, so she's still preggers in this ep, using the hilarious blocking techniques. Also hilarious, her trying to stop Marshall from jumping by claiming she was pregnant, and then he brings up he did notice her gaining wait so she gets pissed because she's faking.
Gossip Girl- So Serena tries to figure out who Gossip Girl is after one last blast during graduation. Okay, hilariously, when she called Nathan class whore, I just figured she meant he was a huge slut who slept with a lot of people. It wasn't until he was giving his gramps full disclosure that I remembered he was an actual whore because the duchess paid him for sex.
When they showed Jonathan and Eric had copies of all of GG's e-mails, it was obvious the juicy gossip Jenny got her hands on that would beat out Emma to become the new Queen B (ah, so they've brought her back? She is pretty cute) it was the sleeping with Jack thing. Especially when it looked like Blair and Chuck were on their way to getting together. But then Gossip Girl lets out everything, claiming at first it was in revenge for Serena trying to figure out her identity, but then she claims it was to give everyone a clean slate, and besides there will be a whole new slew of secrets to release when they're all in college.
So, in the aftermath of the Poppy theft thing, Dan has to go to NYU. Heh, so he and Blair are still going to the same school, just not Yale. But also going to NYU? Vanessa. Plus Georgina, who's going to be Blair's roommate. Also? Rufus and Lily's love child, who's currently stalking Dan. Well stalk is a strong word. But he's lying to his adoptive parents where he is. Speaking of Rufus and Lily, they make up and finally get engaged.
Also together? Chuck and Blair? Blair finally calls him out and being a coward, as GG said, always trying to find an excuse for them to not be together. (Again, interesting that the Jack thing did finally come out, it was odd that they just dropped that I thought) And it seems he runs away to Europe, but only to get Blair a bunch of different gifts? So they're finally together. Wonder how Georgina or whatever else is gonna screw that up.
Ah, and Carter is back also. He went and found Serena's dad, who apparently has been on the run. Weird, was he like Nate's dad and is on the run for tax evasion or whatever?
OTH- Weird, if I didn't know OTH was back next year, I would've thought it was the series finale. I figured Peyton would survive. I did hear she and Lucas were leaving, but I think it would only work if she survived. If she died, there's no way Brooke and Haley and Nate and everyone would let Luke just leave. So they drive off into the sunset. Brooke makes up with her mom and keeps her in the company, and leaves Millie in charge of the Tree Hill store so she can be with Mouth, then finally gets back together with Julian. Nate gets a place with the Bobcats. So everyone lives happily ever after. Except for Dan, who hasn't died yet, but whose life is a living hell. And Whitey wouldn't kill him. So he's stuck alive for now.
24- Ah, well things make a little more sense now. So Tony was doing all this just to get a chance to get Will Patton out in the open, because he feels he's responsible for Michelle's death? Too bad he was babbling on about that so Jack and Renee were able to stop him.
Will Patton is cocky, so Renee becomes Jack jr and becomes lil miss torture? Kim surprisingly isn't helpless against the people on her. Though she still is kinda an idiot. Her arm catches on fire trying to grab that laptop, and she waves it around like a moron? Has she not heard of stop, drop and roll?! But she goes through with the operation after Jack is fine with everything after talking with Bug and is put into an induced coma. Man, he's gonna be really mad when he wakes up!
As for Olivia, Aaron and Ethan figure out what she did and make her tell her parents. Her dad wants to cover it all up. But the prez can't let it go. So her husband's pissed. But she gets Ethan back at least.
