TV Commentary:
The Office- Okay, once the nurse was going through the risks of x-raying Pam's foot and was all, "you aren't pregnant, are you", it was totally obvious that she was going to be preggers. Well, good for Jam!
Smallville- How is this show still returning in the fall?! If I wasn't so pathetic, I'd stop watching this show. That battle between Clark and Doomsday was anti-climatic. And its hilarious that in the end, he separates Davis and Doomsday (or rather Chloe does) with the black Kryptonite, and Davis ends up being evil anyways and kills Jimmy before Jimmy kills him right back. Clark learned a valuable lesson! And despite that, the douche took the exact wrong thing from it and once again is going off to be an idiotic asshole.
But yeah, Jimmy's dead, but apparently he's not real Jimmy, as they hint his little brother (whom Chloe apparently never met, even though she and Jimmy were married!) will be the real Jimmy Olsen from canon. But also, fake Jimmy is responsible for coming up with the future Justice League's first Watchtower? Oh, and Lois accidentally gets shunted to the future, and Zod aries from Kandor?!
Supernatural- Unlike Smallville, this actually was an awesome season finale. Though what's with the fade to white instead of black in the end? Who do they think they are, Lost?! But wow, the reveals and twists were brilliant. Reveal number one- Zachariah and the other "upper management" angels actually want all the seals to be broken and Lucifer to rise. No, not because they've thrown their lot with him. They just want to hasten the apocalypse, because they think they're a shoe-in to win the final battle. So they have this amusing, kinda cocky, "fine, the demons want lucifer to rise? Let's just get it over with so we can kick their ass and get to the everlasting peace part already" attitude.
Reveal number 2: Ruby was a super-secret demon double agent this entire time. Dean got the ball in motion, and Lilith raced to break the other seals, but she was the last seal, and basically Lilith and Ruby needed to trick Sam into killing Lilith. And Ruby does. Actually, her cocky rant at the end of how great she was was pretty cool. I mean, she was pretty braggy about no one knowing she was a double agent except Lilith, and she managed to not only survive the other demons trying to take her out, she succeeded in her mission.
Interesting, at the end, instead of mocking Sam, she was congratulating him and basically building him up, as if he had a place in the new order, that she wanted him to join them. But, Dean shows up at the end and they double team her (heh.) and finally off her. Its too late though, and for the second night in a row, we have a show's season finale fade to white as something big happens.
