geebsSo I hit the ice cream store before work, and ask for a coke float, and the chick behind the counter is all, "I don't know how to make that!" So I was all, "T-S! That's what I want!" Well, I left out the TS part, but I did say it snidely. I wasn't gonna let her incompetence prevent me from getting a float and having to order something else. So I basically had to tell her what to do, even though its not rocket science. Its like coke and ice cream. How hard is that!? But what kind of place doesn't teach its employees how to make the stuff on the friggin' menu!?
But taking my daily constitutional around campus before work, was reminded of one of the good things about hot weather- hottie chyx tanning themselves in bikinis! The other day, as I passed through my neighborhood to go somewhere, saw some cutie nymphet sunning herself in the front yard in her bikini. Shouldn't she be doing that in the privacy of her back yard? Who knows what kinda weirdo perverts might be driving around!
TV commentary:
90210- Alas, Silver in her catholic school uniform wasn't as egg-citing as it should've been. Mebbe its because her skirt was too long. But really, what's up with TV's portrayal of Catholic schools? Mebbe I went to a liberal Catholic school (mebbe too liberal, since it had that swine flu outbreak!) or something, but we were never that severe or drab. And you do not have to be Catholic to go to a Catholic school. If you can pay the tuition and were smart enough (or were a pretty good athlete) you could go to my school no matter what religion you were, or lack thereof. And no one's gonna shun you or anything for it.
But really, Silver's not the only crazy one on this show. That one girl fasting until she came clean? What kinda manipulative nutcase does that. And eff her, its on her if she dies! Who is she to blackmail? And it is a little ridiculous that she's supposed to be the most pious girl in the school, and only she knew about the Silver-Dixon sex tape? She said someone sent it to her, so that implies someone else at the school saw the video (and how is that not child pr0n, given Dixon and Silver's ages, and thus should be illegal to post?), but they act like no one else knew!
And Naomi, talk about an insane stalker. Even Liam's thinly veiled contempt and asking out Annie isn't enough to deter her!
SVU- Weird, Lizzy Mcguire on SVU. But ha. once they mentioned Measles, I was thinking, "Oh geez, this isn't gonna be a ep about vaccination, is it?!" But sure enough, it was. Seriously, who believes the totally false "vaccinations cause autism" junk and doesn't get their kid vaccinated? Its not only a danger to the kid, but to everyone else!
And doubly weird, from the preview for next week, it looks like the next SVU has another chick from Lizzy Mcguire (no, not her mom, who you may know as Data's daughter, or Miranda, whom you may remember as the potential slayer who hung herself on the last season of Buffy on the First's prodding), Lizzy Mcguire's little brother's girlfriend Melina.
NCIS- Weird, when they introduced this "special projects" team with that one cop lady from CSI and LL Cool J and Chris O'Donnell, I was wondering, are they making a spin-off or something? Apparently they are. But I guess they say NCIS gets surprisingly good ratings. Though isn't it already a spin-off of JAG?
