geebsSo before work, had to buy some new earphones because once again I accidentally washed my current ones in the wash. I also ended up washing my last tube of aveeno lip balm. That's the brand that seemed to work best for me (chapstick wasn't cutting it), but all the places I hit before work didn't have it. The cutie at Walgreen's said Burt's Bees was very popular, though she as a "blistex girl" herself. Decided to try the Burt's since I'd tried Blistex before and was curious if the former would work better.
But wonderful, first day on the new shift and we get a big ass problem.
TV Commentary:
House- Heh, cool ep of House tonight. Awesome, House sends Fourteen to the strip club to search out talent for Chase's bachelor party. It was hilarious how both of them were mesmerized by the dancers. And what the, Wilson tries to talk Chase out of a House bachelor party, but tries to do so by being all "have you ever heard of Caligula?"
Oh, but this whole Chip CTB thing is totally awesome. (And cool, someone finally did the thing I've always said they should be doing in these cases when they need to talk to someone who's not there without looking like a total nutcase, using a bluetooth earpiece!) And not just because since she's an element of House's subconscious, she has his same desires, so she kinda lezzes out every so often.
But even more awesome, Chip CTB is evil! Subtly getting House to hire that particular stripper to possibly kill Chase because of the strawberry body lotion she used. Heh, and House actually thought she was a help at first, so he was purposely trying to stay up to keep her around. And she didn't actually end up helping, the Cottages figured it out themselves! And cool, looks like Chip CTB will be around for at least another ep, given he wasn't able to get rid of her with the sleeping pills.
Heroes- Really, that's how the season ends? Sylar kills Nathan (Why can't they give him Claire's blood, it worked for HRG. Then she can have resurrected both her dads!), so they capture Sylar and have Matt mindwipe him into thinking he's Nate? Like that's gonna last!
But how LCD, having Tracy (I assume that's a melted her that can now turn into water) nekkidly kill peeps.
Chuck- I really hope this isn't the finale-finale. Jeffster's rendition of Mr. Roboto. I suppose the government would send a clean up team, but didn't Fulcrum slaughter the catering service? Are they gonna cover that up? Like what if she tries to recommend them later (even though she didn't actually use them)? But wow, I was surprised when the whole Chevy Chase thing got resolved before the half hour mark. And then Chuck fixed Ellie's wedding. So of course one of Casey's men would end up being part of some mysterious not-Fulcrum organization. So there's something out there bigger than Fulcrum that they don't know about?
Ah, so Bryce was really looking out for Chuck since the beginning on Orion's orders? I was guessing that might be the case. And when Bryce said the new intersect was too powerful, I had a feeling that meant Chuck would get skillz from the new upload. So if this show is renewed, he'll be able to keep up with Casey and Sarah?
Gossip Girl- Ah, I had a feeling when Gabriel started talking about an investment opportunity, that it was gonna be a scam. Well, he is one of the devil's sons! But damn, I'm guessing he did take Rufus' check and is gonna screw him over? I was hoping that he was feeling guilty and wasn't actually gonna take Rufus' money, because unlike all those rich UES folks, this is all of Rufus' money. I mean, it seemed like he might be fine with bilking rich fraks, but not the common man.
And heh, V finally admitted to Dan that she frakked Chuck. Twice. And wow, Dan was surprisingly fine with it.
This Blair-Chuck-Nate triangle thing is actually interesting IMO, I like the whole white knight vs dark prince thing. I'd still like to see her with Dan, but I like the different kinds of pulls Nate and Chuck have on her.
But cool, Georgina's back. I'm sure this "conversion" isn't for real. It looks the Wicked Witch may be looking for a chance to get back at the Queen B. I'm curious what she has planned.
