Just came back from seeing Fast & Furious, the 4th film in the series. Truthfully, it might actually be the best of them, not that that's saying much. I do like how part of the film is a flashback (well, flashback to the years between the first and fourth movies) where we actually see Han, so the third film feels less tacked on. Seeing him and Dom actually roll together is a step better than Vin Diesel's cameo at the end of the 3rd film being all, "Yeah, I knew that Han guy" as the thin connection to the series.
Hmm, after a quick google, I'm not seeing a site listing all the cars in the fourth installation yet. I figured Brian's car in the end was the new Subaru WRX-STI, but I wasn't sure until I looked it up. As I said before, the hatchback-ness of it makes it seem like its not actually something that should go fast. I do love that he was back in a Skyline (I heard Paul Walker is actually a huge fan of the Skyline), and Dom's cars (The Buick GNX, his '70 Chevelle SS, and the return of his Charger) were pretty sweet looking as well. But there's a car during the one run I couldn't identify. You had Fenix's Gran Torino, Bri's Skyline, Dom's Chevelle SS, a modified Mustang, the last car was a silver thing that I didn't see enough of to tell what it was.
In any case, yeah, there are plot holes and other things that don't make sense. But its a Fast and Furious movie! Its all about car porn and scantily clad hot chicks. I mean, you have action and racing intercut with the players hitting the racer hang-outs to advance the "plot" where people are showing off their sweet cars while hotties wearing the most ridiculously skimpy outfits "dance" around and for some reason randomly make out with each other.
