Interesting, I didn't realize the whole "What's the difference between peanut butter and jam?" joke from this past Monday's HIMYM was a real joke. I figured it was just one of those "insert your own punchline here" things, because the reality wouldn't live up to SagetTed's "the dirtiest joke he ever heard claim". And the reality doesn't, given this is the actual punchline: "I can't peanut butter my dick in your ass."

Anyhoo, what the hell was up with Scrubs being pre-empted in Atlanta for a special on Digital Conversion. Seriously, they needed to pre-empt a new ep for that?! WTF?! What is there to get? But, luckily, it was online the next morning.

TV Commentary:

Scrubs- Okay, I was trying to figure out the song Ted was playing there at the end, because it sounded so familiar. And then it became obvious he was doing an acoustic guitar cover version of Outkast's "Hey Ya"! Awesome! As awesome as the Joshua Radin cover of the Sesame Street theme from the original first ep of this current season that they ended up showing 5th or whatever. Anyways, Ted's version is almost the same as Obadiah Parker's version. And cool, Joshua Radin finally put up his version of version of Sesame Street on his Myspace.

Lost- Interesting, we get our 1st Freightie ep. Well, one solely dedicated to 1 of the Freighties, as opposed to the one that covered Miles, Charlotte, Lapidus, and Faraday. As suspected, Miles is Dr. Chang's son. Not that that's a surprise, its like they implied Miles had been on the island before, and Chang's the only Asian we've ever seen.

But we also learn a little more about Bram. Apparently, when Naomi recruited Miles, Bram and some guys kidnapped Miles and warned him not to go. So he's obviously not someone working for Widimore, and I don't think he works for Ben either. The only clue we get is that he's part of the "side that's gonna win". He also asks Miles the weird "What lies in the shadow of the statue?" question also, but we still don't get an answer or something resembling one. There was always the implication that the forces that sought to destroy the island that Ben talked about wasn't actually Widimore. So rather than Widimore and Ben being the two sides, and it being a whole thing where both of them telling everyone they're the best hope for the island with the other being the threat, they are on the same side against this mysterious threat. Its just they don't get along. But now we have three factions to wonder who mysterious folks belong to.

Like the guys who attacked Hurley and Sayid. Was it Widimore thinking Sayid is still Ben's man? Ben sending his own people after Sayid because while they need to get the Oceanic 6 back, he figured close enough was close enough and thought Sayid was too big a threat to him? Or could it be whichever group Ilana and Bram belonged to? And interesting, while I thought Cesar and Ilana acted familiar at first, the way he ended up dying seems to nix that idea.

Oh, but heh, Hurley trying to submit a script for Empire Strikes Back. With a few changes of course. But they know they can't change history, so how could he change the plot of Empire Strikes Back? Oh, and Luke got his hand cut off before finding out Vader was his dad. Hurley made it sound like he got his hand cut off because he learned Vader was his dad!

And it looks like the Frosties don't have much time left here at Dharma. Miles got harangued into a mission for Horace, so he forgot to erase the tapes incriminating Kate and Sawyer, which Phil saw. But Phil stupidly tells Sawyer he hasn't told anyone anything yet, so he gets knocked out for his trouble. Of course, the Losties are equally stupid. When Roger asked Jack if Kate is trustworthy, but then Jack has to go and be all ominous. Gee, I wonder if he'll tell Horace or any of the other non-Losties. Then again maybe he'll got to Sawyer first, since Lafleur is head of security, and there's no reason for him to think they know each other. Of course, he could come right when they're tying Phil up, and they have to knock him out too.

But Faraday is back! Apparently he went back to the real world? Miles sounds surprised Daniel's back though, I wonder what the circumstances of him being "no longer around" were anyway?
