While I had mentioned the saboteur in Killzone 2 was pretty cool, I think my favorite would actually be the scout class. I mean, looking like a friendly is a neat trick, but I like the whole full near-invisibility better. Plus, they just look cool, though I'm not sure which design I like better, the ISA scout, or the Helghast one. (though the former has a frickin' blue led on the side of their head, and the latter has the glowing red "eyes", that's not exactly stealthy) Alas, gametrailers hasn't released a trailer for the scout-class yet. But with the badges, looks like you can mix the scout's invisibility with the saboteur's proximity mines, which would make for some good ambushes.

I've said this before, but I just love the helghast soldier outfits. Yeah, its a little Nazi-ish, but the full armor with the "Fritz" style helmet and the gas masks and the glowing red eyes? How is that not totally sweet looking?
Of course, the similarities to Kerberos Panzer Cop/Jin-Roh are uncanny, I'm surprised there hasn't been a lawsuit or something.

TV commentary:

So on the Closer, Brenda and Fritz finally get married. Heh, I'm amused the previews last week cut their conversation in the hall at the end to make it look like they were actually gonna break up instead. I did find it amusing that Fritz had that big case and was all apologetic that he had important work, but Brenda was secretly fine with it because she could go out and work on her own case.

Interesting (well, to me, at least) two of the call girls were played by not-so-famous chyx who I thought were kinda cute when I first saw them in other roles- Cameron Goodman (whom I thought was kinda cute as Gibbs' dead daughter's best friend from when she was a kid on NCIS) and Jamie Brown (whom I first saw as the hottie assassin chick Sophia on Fastlane)

In any case, did they rely on a lot more trickery than they usually do this ep? I mean, first taking advantage of the fact that Whisper was a dumb blond and fooling her into thinking her lawyer would be cool with her spilling her guts, then Brenda posing as an IRS agent to get the lawyer to give up his client list without a warrant. And then getting the couple to turn on each other by having Buzz (is he considered part of her squad, or is he just the station techie and they just utilize him a lot?) mess with the footage so it looks like the husband to kill the wife, then when she was all distraught and rolled over on him, they let him hear it so he would roll over on her. Surely, there's some misconduct in any one of those acts that could jeopardize the case?

Interesting, the Daniels/Gabriel arguing has gotten to the point that Provenza is making one of them transfer out and put themselves up for the promotion to CI. Owel, I guess being forced into a promotion is better than being fired. But he's using Brenda's honeymoon as the chance to do this to try and make the transition go smoothly as possible. I wonder how she'll react when she comes back and finds one of them gone? I still say, while she does have her team the way she likes it, it does seem a little unfair that she'd begrudge them a promotion.

Oh, and did we know Sanchez had a dead wife before this?

So, in the CotW on Burn Notice, we find out Mikey used to be engaged to a chick named Sam (that's a little weird!) played by Dina Meyer. Original Sam takes the news much better than Fi or Mikchael's mom, for obvious reasons. Though it seems Michael's mom was actually a little more pissed than Fi, which is surprising.

Anyways, since the bad guy of the week strapped a bomb to a little kid to strong arm chick Sam, Fi was actually up for helping (I wonder if they purposely made that plot point as a reason for why Fi would help without protest). Heh, so to get what chick Sam stole back, Michael and Fi go in as themselves, saying chick Sam screwed them over. Though what the hell were they gonna do if Victor didn't show up that first time?!

Speaking of Victor, so Victor was like Michael (except eviller?), and he was a normal operative who got burned by Carla's organization so he'd have to work for them. So what was the whole thing at the end of last season, why did he blow up the sniper (and tried to blow up Michael, and didn't Carla hint that other operatives were similarly killed around the same time?)? I mean, did he see some play that could get him out from under them or something? Because I can't see how killing all those people would help, other than pissing the organization off. Or would it be if Michael had died, Carla woulda been effed, and they would have offed her and that would somehow give Victor the opportunity to get out?

Heh, I'm amused that they made a point to show Michael sneaking in the foot wrap to make it look like Victor had a broken leg when he wheeled him out of there, but where the frick did he get that wheelchair from?!
