geebsThings that suck, only having two and a half hours of sleep.
Owel, I guess Fox is doing one of these new Wolverine commercials every night? (Or rather, Sunday/Monday/Tuesday, so my sources tell me) Ah, so they're going with the whole Dog is Sabretooth thing? I did think it was amusing to see Wolverine in Sabretooth in the Civil War, and both World Wars, and 'Nam. Ah, looks like Silver Fox is in it too.
TV commentary:
So on House, the CotW is a priest who's lost his faith. Heh, he tells House he's lost his faith permanently, but House is, "You sure you won't get it back if you get healed?" So discounting the priest's vision of the big JC as a symptom, House figures out its this genetic disease that is like AIDS, but not actually AIDS. So since the vision was a huge koinky-dink, he gains his faith back, because had he not had the vision, he wouldn't have gone to the ER, and House wouldn't have randomly been paging through Cameron's ER files looking for a time waster and found his case, and Taub, thinking the guy really was a pedophile, wouldn't have found the kid who ended up apologizing for ruining the priest's life. House tries to blame it on the drinking, but the guy did get his faith back, much to House's chagrin.
And seriously, what the hell is wrong with Cuddy and House? She's just as bad as he is. And I'm confused about Foreteen. They seem to have made up by the end of the episode. But are they both still working for House? Or did 13 take the job at the other hospital? (And heh, Foreman was all, 13 didn't really want to take the other job, she just wanted to alleviate her guilt. Wow, he really is House Jr) It seemed like once he was an ass to her, she changed her mind. But House did give Foreman his job back at the end!

You know, this whole will they or won't they on Chuck does get kinda annoying because its just so confusing where this hope comes in. I mean, they'll both think to themselves, "Oh, this will never work out", but that happens like every two or three eps! Do they forget they came to that realization already? Why did they start thinking all happily ever after? Oh, and is it me, or was housewife Sarah kinda hot?
Ah, but they do have a callback to the 1st Yale ep, where Chuck somehow tested positive on being to absorb copious amounts of data. He's the only one who survived the testing of the fulcrum intersect. And wait, does that mean in addition to the normal intersect, he has the fulcrum's prototype version of the intersect as well? Or was there not actually much data on it? I mean, he was able to figure out the neighborhood was a fulcrum base, and had files on everyone there. But what is it limited to just that, or will he be able to topple more Fulcrum stuff. I am amused they had that guy Brian Thompson (Shao Khan/Bounty Hunter in X-files/various other thugs) as one of the Fulcrum guys, but instead of being muscle, he was a psychiatrist-type. HA!
And gee, like it was any surprise the chick Big Mike was dating was Morgan's mom? Its like who else in the cast is hispanic?! Well, Morgan doesn't look hispanic, but the show references him as such.

What to say about Heroes? What was the point of Hiro and Ando's misadventures in India? There better be more to that other than Hiro realizing he doesn't need powers to be a hero. And Claire and fishboy? Though what's with Claire all sad that Bennet was getting kicked out of the house? What the hell did she think was gonna happen was she told her mom?
And given how annoying microwave boy is turning out to be, why doesn't Sylar just eat his brains (Claire, that's disgusting!) already and take his powers. Yeah, he already has several methods of energy protection already, but what's one more? And how the frick are the hunters supposed to capture him anyways? They need to sneak someone up behind him like that?! I'm guessing they can't use a sniper rifle, because unlike Claire, he can possible teek the bullet before it hit him? But he ends up saving the kid in the end. I would have rather seen Sylar and Elle, bad-ass couple on the run over surrogate father Sylar!
Okay, given what a jerk Nathan is, I did initially think it was him who let Tracy escape so Moira Kelly could see what she could do and be all horrified at a guy freezing and shattering so she'd approve Nate's funding. But given Tracy knew it was a setup, why the frick did she kill the guy then? Its like, thanks for ensuring the continued hunting down of your kind!

On 24, when the hell has Renee been in a worse situation than trying to shoot her way through a safehouse trying to rescue the First Gentleman? I know she's trying to act tough, but still! And I'm sure they'll ramp up the guilt by having Dubaku's gf get killed. Its like thanks, cripple sister, for jinxing things by making Renee promise to get your sister back alive to you! But Moss trying to get to Renee, mentioning all the people around him who've died. I can understand the wife, but his other choices are Curtis and Chapelle? I guess Tony is still alive, so he couldn't use him. But heh, I wonder if he purposely picked guys Kiefer ended up killing himself (Curtis to stop him from killing that one terrorist they needed info for, Chapelle because Saunders demanded it or else).
And so, there's a First Daughter, played by Sprague Grayden? I've always thought she was kinda cute. But ha, the prez asks Buchanan to send someone to get her, whom he can trust, and they send Aaron Pierce? Again, I guess there's not that many people he could send. Tony is off doing who knows what and everyone else is dead.
But they did fake me out just a tad with Janice. I mean, she was just being nosy (and kinda paranoid!), but they played it up a little and made her a little too suspicious. And then the fake warrant came out, so I was thinking "WTF, are they making her the mole?! It would make no sense given how she was trying desperately to stop the plant thing!" But they quickly explain it by having affair dude say he hacked into Moss' phone. Wow, Moss does suck!
But I'm sure they'll think its Janice initially, and try torturing her for info. And heh, the previews show Renee slapping Jack asking if he feels anything, they're like one step away from totally making out!
