geebsSo a couple of weeks ago, I saw the buzz on that Casey Carlson chick on AI. She's hot and all, but is she really "American Idol's Sexiest Ever contestant" (FHM) or "the hottest girl Idol's had, ever" (TMZ)? poodleface was on), but I know they go to a bunch of cities and have auditions (speaking of, cute outfit she tried out in), then they get the best picks from those tryouts to Hollywood, then thin the herd to like 12 for the main part of the contest. But aren't they not even up to Hollywood yet? It would be amusing if she got all this publicity and didn't make it into the top 12 or whatever.
Weird, the acting/quality/production values in the trailer of "The Office- A XXX Parody" (the content is SFW, though the general idea prolly isn't. Here's a link to a NSFW for you pervs) doesn't look half bad. Well, compared to other films of that kind. Ashlynn Brooke as a female Michael? Also weird. Though I think there's a little more to Michael than saying "That's what she said".
TV commentary:
As people have been saying, its kinda distracting that TNT is showing the show way out of order. I mean, it doesn't really cut into the story, because its not that they reference events that haven't happened or anything, its more the tone. Like last night's ep seems like it would be earlier than some of the others yet because the interaction between the team is as if they are new and just learning to work together. I guess you could chalk it up to them never having seen Nathan drunk, but they seem to trust Nathan less than they do in other eps, and they don't seem to know each other as well as they do in general.
I'm still curious about Nathan and Sophie's back story. And not in a shippy kinda way, I'm just trying to reconcile it in my mind. As they said, Nathan used to be the good guy, always followed the rules. And he seemed like a family man. I assumed he and his wife divorced because the son's illness tore them apart. But how the hell does Sophie fit in this? They make it sound like they're this couple who's been dancing around each other for 8 to 10 years, and I can't imagine old Nate being the kinda guy who's flirting with some English hottie when he has a wife and kid at home.
