I was born to give and give and give
Dec. 7th, 2008 12:51 pmSo, had a three-day weekend for my berf day (sidneypoitierv('That would be a birthday.')). Saturday was pretty fun, had the usual suspects (well, some semi-usual) over for a cookout. The roomie grilled up some good stuff as usual, and
phatjoe brought over Rock Band 2, which was awesome. Played hours of that. I especially like the no-fail mode in RB2, because sometimes you just wanna rock out without having to worry about losing and the song stopping.
I dunno, mebbe its because I'm old and set in my ways, but I don't think I'd ever be able to do the drums/guitar/bass past easy (even medium was pushing it on some songs), even with practice! Or it would take a hell of a lot of practice. Though I do think the drums are more manageable than the guitar/bass. In any case, while the highest score we got was on "Foreplay/Long Time" (even though everything was all fives), I would say the most fun song to do, for me, was actually Weezer's "Greatest Man That Ever Lived". (And I wasn't even doing vocals for that one, that was
poodleface. I'd like to try the vocals on that one day, though its pretty crazy so I'd have to practice them. Mebbe Christmas day, if BK's 360 is fixed by then. And he brings it. And if he actually has the Weezer DLC. I wonder if A will be there, I hope she is. But I digress.) Though ND's enthusiastic version of Ballroom Blitz was fun to watch, as well.
Oh, and why the hell does iCarly have a DLC song on RB2?!
(Heh, sorry, no vids, I didn't break out me digital video camera for this!)
