geebsOwel, all my bags are packed, and I'm ready to go. I'm leaving on a jet plane, don't know when I'll be back again. Okay, I do. Just referencing that old John Denver song. But heading into NYC in a couple of hours for Thanksgiving.
TV commentary:
Okay, what's with the developments on this week's OTH? Peyton has cancer. Eh, seems like manufactured drama to me. I can see where Mouth is having trouble. If you have a hot girl that relentlessly flirty with you, even if you don't do anything with her because you already have a gf, its hard to cut her off completely, because who doesn't like that kinda attention. He's still an idiot, but I think its totally understandable. But what the?! Millie finds a naughty photo Gigi sent to Mouth on his phone, so she goes to Owen's bar, and Owen, upset after Brooke finally ends thing with him says he's breaking his sobriety, while Millie is so distraught she's gonna give up her V-card to him. Really?!
Oh, but the big haps, which is a little ridiculous is the whole thing with Sam's friend and his brother. So, it turns out Brooke's mother didn't hire a thug to steal those sketches. Sam said some mean things about her, and her dorky friend who has a thing for her, took it upon himself to avenge Sam and kick the crap out of Brooke. And then, we find out his brother is the guy who killed Quentin. WTF! I hope they're not killing her off though, there seemed to be an awful lot of foreshadowing. Dawson being all, "you've got to kill off one of the younger characters" (that seems like it would be non-sensical for the movie, given Keith dies in it already) and Jamie's creepy nursery rhyme VO ending with the words "dead" as we see Sam drive off with her friend and his brother.

On Chuck, so Jill was fulcrum even back then?! And they made her break up with him?! At least she didn't actually sleep with Bryce. But they resolved the whole triangle by having Jill almost shoot Sarah, and so since Jill was willing to do that, Chuck washes his hands of her, and tricks her into thinking he's letting her go when she's really capturing her. And the whole Ellie uninviting Morgan thing was a little mean. I mean, yeah, he's annoying, and she doesn't want him to be around for the Awesomes, but she's known him for years, and has to know he has nowhere else to go. Wait, scratch that. Where the eff has Anna been this whole time?! He coulda gone with her! I'm amused by the jokey theory going around that Casey actually did recruit her after she beat up those jocks, and she's been off training.

HIMYM- Oh, ha, they actually do have the 50 reasons to have sex list compiled (even though they didn't mention all 50 in the ep). Anyways, amusing ep, though who the eff where Barney and Ted posing for, why would they say the pose, and do it, when there's no one actually watching. I also find it ridiculous Lily did the naked man, because its different for girls. Yeah, a guy, the naked man would be hit or miss. But guys are always raring to go, so of course, the naked girl would always work!

On Heroes, the eclipse makes everyone lose their powers. The thing that really annoys me about this development, is yeah, the show started on the eclipse, but didn't they start showing powers even before then. And what about the elder Heroes, or Adam, who've had powers way before that last eclipse?!
Oh, so Daphne's big secret is when she's not a speedster, she's gimp girl? I do find it funny that people have their own little techniques for their powers (even though I think it shouldn't be necessary), just so they could do it and look all confused when they didn't work. Like Ellie trying to shoot lightning, or Sylar trying to teek, or Daphne's dad being all, "why are you looking at me funny sideways" to Matt when he tried to mind control him. Like why would Matt actually have to make that face, isn't it all in the mind?

Ah, on SCC, so Riley is in league with Jesse? I knew something was off with her, I knew there was gonna be something like that. I still think they just took whatever storyline they were gonna do with that one girl last year and gave it to Riley. And I thought they were gonna do a "she's really from the future" thing with her. So I was kinda expecting something like that.
And I've been wondering why Chrome Artie is still in the cast, but I guess now I know, because Catherine Weaver's AI (is it Skynet? There seem to be multiple possible skynets going around), "John Henry" is using his body.

On Prison Break, they finally get Scylla. And Lisa is the general's daughter. No wonder she hates Gretchen, her dad's doing it with a girl younger than her!! Oh, but Trish shoots Feng, and Self is perturbed, and we find out in the end its because he was actually out for himself. (And he kills poor Trish, no!) I had a feeling they were gonna do that with him. Well, it only makes sense. If they have Scylla, they win, and the only way to prolong the story is to have someone above them betray them, and he was the only possible candidate!
