TV commentary:

Watching Valentine last night, is it me, or is Autumn Reeser incredibly adorkable?! How is she not getting more work? I mean, relegated to a D-team CW show, the Lost Boys sequel, the American Mall? A travesty for such a talented actress!

On Dexter, Miguel tries to convince Dex to kill that defense attorney hounding him on the Chicky Hines case. I'm still not 100% convinced he's all, "getting justice any way you can" and more like he has his own agenda and is trying to use Dex to eliminate the obstacles in his way. But I find it kinda cute that since Dex is a sociopath, he thought that one argument was the end of their friendship. But I guess he's never had friends, so he doesn't know sometimes friends have disagreements, but they make up.

The real interesting development was with Camille. So she knew his brother was the ice truck killer. Though I wasn't sure if she knew he was a vigilante serial killer until he said he killed his brother. But even more shocking, she wasn't horrified or anything, she was all, "Good!" Though she was dying and had just been drugged, so who knows if she actually knew what the hell was going on.

I was also confused if she knew the "perfect" key lime pie was poisoned. I guess she did. She had to, right? And I'm also curious when she sent him out on that quest if that was her intention all along, to get him to mercy kill her through key lime pie.

I love the developments on tonight's Gossip Girl. They make you think one thing, and they change it into something else entirely. Take for example the inevitable Jenny/Agnes blow up. They painted Agnes to be a little psycho, so from the previews last week, I think one would think Agnes setting fire to Jenny's stuff was just some crazy, out of the blue action because she's nuts. I mean, while it was a psycho thing to do, she had her reasons. Jenny was sick and tired of dealing with Agnes bs, as it was screwing up her chances, especially since she's already given up so much and has so much riding on this. So she stole Agnes contacts. Agnes merely reacted to what she saw as a deep betrayal. It was still an effed up thing to do, and I don't know why Jenny, knowing full well what Agnes was going to do, didn't try harder to stop her!

The Dan stuff is even more brilliant- following his sister's example, he sent the "Charlie Trout" story in, and that led Shapiro to introduce him to a friend at "New York Magazine", who wanted Dan to do an expose on Bart. So he finds out how Bart set fire to one of his buildings to collect the insurance to build his empire and even worse, he finds out from Bart that a guy died in the fire. So it changes from Dan underhandedly gaining Bart's trust to expose a big secret, to a conscience thing, where now he's supposed to sit on this info that Bart ended up killing a guy! But wait, he does kill the story, because his father told him to?! WTF?!

But ha, ironically, that story Chuck threatened Dan to never tell anyone, get shown to Bart, and actually ends up bringing them close together! That's rich!

And ha, Eleanor's new bf is played by Shawn Wallace, and since he is a small, goofy little man, Blair is appalled! And wow, that is pretty low of her to use that story about the Vietnam chick to get her mom to break up with him. But he was a few steps ahead, and invited Cyndi Lauper to do her party to make her feel guilty and make her fix things. I think its an amusing little relationship. I'm passingly familiar with the books, so it annoyed me it took them that long to figure out he was Aaron's dad. They have the same last name! Though I guess Blair and Serena might now have neccesarily known his last name.

And I can't believe Aaron is able to snow Serena with his charm, all, "I see plenty of girls, baby, and that's all right, right?" He thinks he's so effin great!

So, on Heroes we get another Flashback ep. We find out more about the whole Petrelli story pre-show, and how Arthur Petrelli was involved in all that, since they finally cast him.

And what, Flint is Meredith's brother? I guess that makes sense, since they're both pyrokinetics. But what, now they're saying she was an agent in training?! And wait, Eric Roberts set her free because he found out Claire was her daughter? And she and her brother caused the train fire that Claire ran into? I don't think the timeline works out right though!

And what, Elle and Noah used to be partners?! And they were working Sylar, and she had a crush on him?! She offered him Peach Pie? qv('Alright!') She's more cheery back then than she is in the present. And that is awesomely hilarious that she was trying to make him all jealous by hanging all over the other guy and bragging about how special he is!

And so it just wasn't her father's a-holishness that turned her into the cold hearted bitch she is today, but also Bennet forcing her to push Sylar until he killed again?

I dunno, while the visit to the past was interesting the first time, I'm not sure how I feel about all this retconning.

But what the hell, how come Usutu didn't get any warnings about Arthur beheading him? I was wondering who did that at first, but I forgot Arthur is pretty powerful now that he has all the powers Peter had.

I remember Nathan being fairly anti-Linderman early on, but it seemed like "his money is kinda dirty and I don't want my campaign associated with him," not like "he tried to kill me and paralyzed my wife."
