You don't mean hero like sandwich, do you?

On Smallville, I remember they were bring Kara back for one more ep to give her a proper sendoff, so I was worried when she was badly injured in the phantom zone that they would kill her off. But nope, she survives, and instead goes to try and find Candor, which may contain Kryptonian survivors.
But I like what they did with Doomsday this ep. In the comics, if you killed Doomsday, he'll just come back to life, and will have adapted to the way you killed him. And they have it be that way on the show too- possessed Lois stabs Davis through the heart, so at the end of the ep, when he tries to stab himself through the heart, he's developed hardened skin or something that shatters the knife.
Oh, and those eps a few weeks ago, when they had Maxima, I said I thought she was like some evil Starfire clone they made up, but I guess Maxima is an actual character. And I thought the whole wanting to find a Kryptonian because they're the only ones strong enough to mate with her was something they made up as well, but no, that's the character's motivation in the comics as well. And she was apparently in the Justice League cartoon as a baddie once?

On Supernatural, I like how even in a somewhat light episode like this, they still reveal important tidbits. I'm curious if the secret mentioned in the yellow fever ep is the fact that Dean remembers his time in hell. Glad to see he set Sam straight though. Its frickin Hell! Its so horrible that he wouldn't be able to describe it, and even if he could, its not the kinda thing he'd want to describe/inflict on someone!
Anyways, pretty comical ep, especially with the teddy bear. That was hilarious when it tried to blow its brains out, then shout, "WHY!??!" when he survived. But aw, how sad, when Joxer saw how Hope wished Sam dead because of her obsessive love for him, he realized that his wish was bad and took back the cursed coin. And then she went back to not knowing who the hell he was. Although she did seem kinda nuts in love mode, I would think it would've driven him crazy eventually. So he dodged a bullet and did the right thing!

On the Office, with Pam's time almost being up, her college buddy is all, "You should stay in NY!" And I think its for a legitimate reason. She's getting all these new experiences in the greatest city in the world, stuff she wouldn't get to do if she stuck to just being a plain old receptionist in Scranton. And since Jim was privy to that conversation, I think as much as he wants to be back with Pam, the guy did kinda have a point.
Obviously, this will cause angst, and unfortunately, this isn't the final season, otherwise they'd prolly just have Jim find a place in NY and move up there with her. Even since the beginning of the show, they hinted that Jim is just slumming it in Scranton and could be so much more if he tried. His second life character was a sportswriter. It seemed like he was staying for Pam, but now that they're together, if Pam has a chance somewhere else, shouldn't he join her?
Anyways, while waiting for my emissions to be checked today, I was reading up on the new Dodge Challenger. Unlike the Charger, it actually looks like its initial incarnation. Which is cool, because while the Charger has grown on me, it, like the GTO and the GXP just look like normal sedans with more aggressive styling. Ida know, you could argue that they're going for their own look, but I guess I like the designs of the old muscle cars, which is why I like the new Challenger and the Mustang. Amusingly enough, I'm not that keen on the new Camaro. I guess its because I liked the second and third generation designs (the way it looked in the 70s and then the 80s) over the initial design. And yes, I realize how similar the new Camaro looks to the new Challenger. But like I said, when I think of Camaros, I think of the designs from the 70s and 80s. So while it doesn't look bad, it just doesn't seem Camaro-y to me.
