Geez, I'm out of shape. Yeah, its an uphill walk from here to Tech Square, but I can't believe that I get winded walking there and back.

TV commentary:

Okay, on True Blood, I was pretty sure the dog was a shapeshifter, and given the Sam weirdness the past few eps, I figured out he was the dog (well, I think even as early as the first ep there was a clue he was the dog), but I guess they've confirmed it. I'm curious if Bill knows though. Was he just asking Sam to look after Sookie because he knows the guy cares for her, or if it was because he knows Bill has some powers of his own?

On Dexter, he's starting to think Miguel is really his friend. I'm still skeptical. He's just too quick to be cool with everything for it to be a whole, "Oh, I'm a frustrated ADA who's sick and tired of seeing criminals get off, and I've found a guy of similar mind who's going out there and taking back the streets by punishing those who escape justice." I mean, this ep and last, it almost seems like its a test, like he's trying to poke at Dexter's defenses to find the right amount of prodding to let Dexter reveal his true self. Just like Dexter was trying to make Miguel lose his taste for all this, all, "Oh, this is too risky and dangerous!" Miguel would counter with, "No, I owe you!"

Even last ep, when Dexter was off to kill that one guy, and Miguel was all, "You're going fishing, mebbe I'll just blow off work too and join you!" It seemed less like a "Ah, look at the wrench having a friend throws into your attempt to kill people!" and more like Miguel just fooling with him. (Or testing to see what Dexter does under such pressure)

But Miguel takes an active part in getting a victim, though Dext changes the stash house on him so he can do the ritual alone. I'm trying to figure out (I can't remember.) if Harry had caught him post ritual all those years ago, or if he only knew Dex started killing. Because it has me curious, if Harry didn't see him actually kill someone, and only knew Dexter was offing bad guys in the abstract, would his reaction be more like Miguel's? And then he wouldn't have killed himself?

Of course, I'm still not convinced Miguel's on the up and up. I did find the parallels between Miguel and Dexter teaming up and Rita working for Syl pretty funny. How Rita's worries are similar to the things Dexter was stressing about.

Oh, I am annoyed though that Dexter has shown little interest in the skinner case, particularly when Deb suspects Ramon is possibly the skinner? I mean, the guy who's been pestering him about joining in on his "quest for justice", just happens to have a brother who could possibly be a serial killer? I guess he did ask Deb to keep him on the loop because Ramon is volatile, but I think the connection bears more investigation on his part! Particularly since he's spending so much time with Miguel!

Ah, and Quinn claims that the whole Yuki IA investigation is a personal vendetta since they used to go out. Yeah, it does seem like that, but there's something off with Quinn anyways. Like when he stopped the elevator when Deb told him about the IA investigation. I mean, that's a pretty sudden reaction, as if he was doing something the IA would be investigating. Either Quinn, or the Prados, or both, have a connection to the skinner, I'm sure. Heh, given Deb was going out with the ice truck killer, I suppose Anton could be the killer. Deb was worried it was Ramon because people she's been talking to have started ending up dead, and he was privy to what she was doing. But so was Anton! That would be prosaic if he was the killer though, given she was going out with Dexter's brother. Oh, and I just realized, isn't that kinda incestuous that she's going out with the brother of her adoptive brother?

But heh, Batista gets a date with the hooker cop lady. Though given he admits he knew the whole hooker outside the station was a test set up by her, that doesn't really prove anything about his fidelity!

Oh, and the records lady is in the hospital is dying. I know Dexter has a code of who he kills, but given her talk about being miserable and not wanting to lose her dignity, I was wondering if he was gonna mercy kill her. I guess she's still alive at the end of the ep, perhaps he may mercy kill her in an upcoming episode.
