geebsWas it me, or was it friggin gloomy looking day today? I mean, it was so grey! Still feeling bleh, but what can you do?
Been reading entirely too much fic as of late. I find I prefer one shots to multi-chapters, in the range of 6000-10000 words. That seems ideal for a nice read- not too short, not too long. Not that multi-chapter fics are bad. 7 to 10 chapters, around 20,000-40,000 words is a good size. I have read some longer than that that are really good, but at that length, you feel so spent once you're done. It can be such a roller coaster. Of course, the other problem with multi-chapter ones are that if you come across one that's not yet complete, it can be so frustrating waiting for updates.
Ah, its a good thing I paid attention to recent commercials, I didn't realize there was a new South Park and Sarah Silverman Show Wednesday night. I found tonight's South Park kinda disturbing for a couple of reasons.

So Charles Charles is indeed her dad and not Vivian and Lily's brother. Again, how does that work? So Vivian was cool with raising the love child or her cheating lover? Then again, she does seem like a nice lady, and I supposed Lily could have bullied her into it as well. It is a little nonsensical, but the show is chock full of that, I guess.
