A few more BSG comments. Forgot to remark on a couple of things Apollo said. 1) Him being all, what would you do if Zak showed up one day and had really been a cylon? I think if Zak showed up and had turned out to be a cylon all along, Adama would have a little more to be concerned about besides whether his cylon-ness makes a difference. Given Zak is supposed to be his son and he presumably watched the boy grow up, there would be some serious issues to worry about! Like, is he himself a cylon, and his memories about seeing Zak grow up are fake? Then would Apollo be a cylon? Or did the Cylons replace his son at birth, and if so, what happened to his real son? So, I get Lee's sentiment, but using Zak was a poor example, because I think that would be a totally different case then Starbuck. Then again, I guess he was trying to pick someone they thought was dead who Adama is as close to as her. Like, if Lee were having the conversation with Roslin instead, he could be all, "What would you do if Billy suddenly showed up all alive!"

The other thing was when Lee refused to rejoin the military and told his dad that the government was putting out feelers for him. Heh, was that before or after he outed Rosalin having cancer again? I don't think they're on good terms since the trial. So if it was before the trial, those options might no be around anymore.

Saturday TV commentary:

Pretty dark ep of Torchwood tonight. So, the rift goes both ways, not only do things show up in Cardiff, but people get pulled from Cardiff to wherever? I dunno, that scares me a hell of a lot more than some alien monster showing up. At least those, there's the possibility of fighting back or escaping. But slipping through a rift in space/time and ending up at any point in existence, with no control of where you end up? Particularly since being pulled into the rift would be random, the chances of you ever showing back up normal are miniscule!

Obtuse comment of the day: Went to a thing today that had a few available cuties, some with luscious melons. (Ha, just trying to get a rise out of certain people!).

In SW2 stuff, going from merc mode to normal mode can be confusing at times, because in merc mode, characters have special merc skills that only apply to merc mode. Kojiro has a good one, acceleration, where his running speed is faster than even Matsukaze. Since only certain people can call for their horse in this game, its a useful skill since I don't have to go back for the horse. But going back to normal mode, I have to remember the characters aren't gonna run that fast so I need to keep track of the horse.
