Ah, how Warriors Orochi has spoiled me. After some skill farming in SW2:XL with Kojiro Sasaki, switched to leveling up Toshiie Maeda up some. And I forgot what a pain in the ass it is hoping to learn a skill! I already miss WO's just fulfill a certain requirement to learn a skill. I also miss WO's weapon leveling system. It sucks having to hope for a good enhancement for a weapon. Though that new orb system where you can get orbs from mercenary mode to put specific bonuses (particular elements or bonuses) on weapons is pretty similar to WO's weapon system.
And who spells "Lucius" "Luscious"?! I mean, if I saw that name on an application, I would think its a hottie stripper chick, not some fruity ivy league snob!!
So I saw that one ep of Pornucopia featuring one of my all time favorite pr0n stars, Jenna Haze, and I guess it must be an old one because she was in her only doing girl-girl scenes phase because she felt doing it with a guy would be cheating on her bf. Seriously, WTF?! Personally, its a job, so I don't think its cheating anyways, but if one were to define it as cheating, then I don't see how just doing girl-girl is any less cheating!
I've done a top 10 for girls in that business before, but I didn't really put it in any order. If I had to order a top 5 off the top of my head it would be the following. If not for the whole "only girl girl" phase for Jenna, I think she would've been my number one.
1) Teagan Presley.
2) Jenna Haze
3) Kat
4) Kacey
5) Aurora Snow
The roomie did pepperoni encrusted meatloaf, salad, rolls, and fettucini alfredo for pre-Lost dinner. Though he ended up with more noodles than sauce. Heh, I joked since he was doing chili tomorrow, he could save the noodles and do some chili Cincinnati style. Though I guess that's spaghetti type noodles, not fettucini noodles.
Thursday night TV commentary:
As expected, tonight's ep was a Michael flashback. Apparently his path to the freighter started because he was all suicidal because Walt was all pissed at him for killing Ana Lucia and Libby and betraying Jack, Kate, Sawyer, and Hurley to the others to save their own skins. But according to Tom, the island won't let him kill himself because he has work to do. And ha, we get confirmation that Tom's Mo! I dunno though, it was kinda funnier to just suspect he was gay from various innocuous comments, like telling Kate she wasn't his type.
So his assignment was to kill everyone on the boat, and he was all willing to. After all, the big guy from Smokin' Aces and some of the other guys were on the deck skeet shooting with H-K MP5s, which means these guys might not actually be friendly rescuers. And Locke got Ben to tell the camp that the boaties are there for him and to kill everyone else, and that Mike is his guy on the boat. I did find it hilarious when Locke was all "How's Ben gonna come up with three million?" to Miles and Miles brought up the true point that a few days ago, Ben was his prisoner, now he's free and living large. The shrimp is a master manipulator.
In fact, he sent Alex, Danielle, and Karl to the temple, supposedly for Alex's safety. But it was as a trap and Karl and Danielle got sniped, and the ep ends with Alex all, "She's Ben's daughter" and holding her hands up in surrender. I'm guessing Ben purposely did that so he could not only hide Alex, but get rid of the two people he's had to share her with? The sneaky little bastard!
Back to the boat, Michael was all ready to blow himself up with a bomb Ben's people had shipped to the boat with Kevin Johnson's name on it, but I guess it was a test. Ben wants Mike to make more lists because there are "innocents" on the boat. Only then can they kill the bad guys and spare the innocents. But Sayid doesn't trust Michael, so after hearing his tail, Sayid captures Michael and turns him in to the Captain. I'm sure this works into Ben's plans somehow though.
Only got to see the first half of Smallville before heading to work. Wait, so Veritas is a club to which the Luthors, the Swanns, the Teagues, and the Queens belonged? I know Oliver's parents died mysteriously, and he and Lex were classmates, but unlike Jason's mother, it didn't seem like they were into any of the Krypton mythology stuff. I guess its the writers trying to be clever and coming up with a convulted connection between the various secondary characters throughout the years.
And what the frick, I know they need a way for Chloe and Lana to find Clark, but why the hell would Lionel have a direct paper trail leading to him building that mysterious facility?
Anyways, a few weeks ago, I remember there was a story about Heckler & Koch grabbing back the HK-416s they provided to Blackwater for "training purposes" because it was discovered they were being used by Blackwater in certain war zones. Its no surprise they were using the HK-416s since they're superior to the plain old M4A1 carbines in use by the regular military.
Well, mostly. Most Army units that could get away with it switched to the 416 as well, like Delta and the Assymetric Warfare Group (is it me, or is the description for what the AWG does hilariously vague?!) But recently Colt (who makes the M4 carbine) was awarded a huge contract to continue providing M4s to the army, so they've confiscated the 416s from the AWG and given them crappy M4s.
Ha, and that's M4s with the horrendous 3-shot burst rather than the M4A1's with full auto. Sure, you're thinking, isn't it better to limit troops to a three round burst? But the trigger was so awful (very heavy, inconsistent take up) that in Desert Storm, the Marines were actually disabling the three round burst function and actually limiting the rifles to single shot. At least wit the M4A1, one could get waivers to install a match grade trigger from KAC.
And reliability in the desert (where we seem to be doing most of our fighting) is just terrible for the M4A1. In a recent reliability test the M4 finished last. It was pitted against the XM8 (which is basically the HK G36), the FN SCAR, and the HK-416. And finished last. In fact, the total number of stoppages/malfunctions it faced was more than the other three combined!
Yet the Army's sticking with the M4! Sure, it makes sense logistically, but the 416 (which although it finished third, had 600 less malfunctions than the M4) has around 60% commonality with the M4. I believe you can just change out the upper recievers! So its not like they'd be changing to a whole new thing (and thus no need to re-train troops on a new weapon). So while it is basically the M4, its also better! Now, it sounds like I'm knocking the M4, and I'm really not, I'm knocking Colt's version of the design. I mean, the M16/M4 series has been around since Vietnam, and its a really good design, its just that there have been improvements since then. And the 416 has come up with the latest round of improvements, yet the government is unwilling to go with them because they're not made by the proper companies.
I mean, the only marks off are the horrendous trigger (which was improved on the M4A1), and the reliability issues. If one takes good care of the rifle, its only slightly less reliable than the ultra reliable AK series. However, in the desert, the cleaning oils used to prevent fouling and keep the M4 running reliabiably attracts dust like a magnet! But the 416 doesn't have to worry about fouling. I thought they were just wanting to continue using the rifles in the inventory and that's the reason they were unwilling to purchase 416s, but I'm even more confused that they awarded a new contract to Colt. Like I said, the 416 is very similar, so if you're gonna replace the older rifles anyways, why not go with the version that is slightly improved.
Ida know, giving our troops unreliable guns, going with failing body armor made by guys who're using the profits to throw their daughters sweet 16s featuring 50 Cent and Aerosmith, over-armoring the vehicles they ride in so they handle like crap and can possibly even tip over, its almost like there's a conspiracy out there to get our troops killed.
