May. 30th, 2002 10:21 amWoah, a bit woozy right now. Had around six hours of sleep. If you could call it that. So I'm pretty much dazed. Just waiting for customer feedback on some problems I'm working on. Killing the time web-surfing.
I've been trying to figure out a word for my usual disposition. I wouldn't exactly call myself an optimist. I mean, I'm a firm believer of Murphy's law, and truthfully don't really trust anybody or anything. I guess I assume everything will go wrong, but have to believe that it won't. A hopeful pessimist, perhaps? Or a reluctant cheerleader? Those are both actually two words, but I digress. I guess someone needs to play the part of dreamer or romantic (and I'm not talking about that corny stuff, I mean it in the "literary" sense of the word.), the one who is all "life is good!" (How can anyone not think Amelia is cool?)
Now for more from the thin veil:
1) It seems like everyone is like "that" nowadays. I can't and won't be. Though it is pretty arrogant of me to think I'm some sort of bastion.
2) Screw the rules. They're stupid anyways. And the world is too diverse to pigeon hole things. And don't you folks worry, I'm not going to do anything dumb, I just wanted to mention how stupid certain rules were.
