Just taking a break from toolin' cabinets to have lunch. I should be able to have everything done before class, which ends early today because of the football game.

Is it me, or if Peter got Charlie and Monica powers, he'd be a god? I mean, right now, he can snag powers just by being in someone's presence, and they don't even have to be neccesarily using them at the time. But with Charlie's power, he could know everything there is to know just by picking up a book or reading it off the internets, and with Monica's he could learn to do any physical skill just by watching someone do something.

Well, I guess the power is limited by their own physical limit. I'm sure you could learn the proper technique for weightlifting or running a marathon, but they wouldn't be able to dead lift as much as an Olympian they witnessed or have the endurance to do a triathalon unless they were pretty fit to begin with. I think there was a Q&A somewhere where they say Monica's relatively athletic to begin with, so she hasn't run into trouble yet with physical skills. And she's compact, so she would have no problem doing acrobatics or parkour, or any of those insane moves Tony Jaa, Jet Li, or Jackie Chan do. Peter's short, but he's not that short, so if he had her power, I guess there might be things he couldn't do. But for the most part, it didn't sound like there was a limit to what Monica or Charlie could learn. (Or at the very least, they never reached it)

But for the most part, Monica's power is pretty much like the Matrix downlaoad thing, especially since they gave her "the ipod of skillz". Anyhoo, I digress, I was thinking its too bad he didn't meet Charlie to get her power, but then I remembered he has Hiro's power and this past ep shows him doing the time travel thing (albiet by accident). And since he seems to have DL's phasing powers, he doesn't even to be that close for that long and it doesn't have to be active (which makes me think he should have Eden's power. heck, if Candace was lurking about and managed to abscond with Sylar's dying form, he might even have hers!). So if there's someone who died who's power he wants, he doesn't even have to worry about messing up time lines, just figure out a nice and quick point to jump back to, pass them on the street, hover outside their balcony or what have you, and "viola", new power!

If I were him, I'd travel all over the place and see what cool powers I'd get. Heh. the way I talk, I'm guessing if there were such a thing as super powers, I'd end up being corrupted by them and becoming a villain. But I might think what I'm doing is good for the world.
