So I heard the Williams street thing caused a real traffic nightmare last night. And it's gonna be like that for the next year and a half?! Who came up with this brilliant plan anyways?

Owel Monday night TV commentary:

The thing with the ensemble cast shows is its hard to organize notes on it because there's like several stories all over the place. So let's start with Hiro in the past. Since Sark (sorry, I can't think of him as Kensei just yet) is too busy getting drunk off his ass, Hiro takes his armor and poses as him, using his powers to scare the "samurai" accosting sword princess chick. I think the most hilarious part of the scene is when they're running away in terror and Hiro's all, "Write a story about it. Call it 'the battle of 12 swords or something'." Of course, I'm curious if he's totally making that up to start up heroic stories of Kensei, or if there actually was a "Battle of 12 swords" that Sulu read to him when he was a kid.

Anyways, sword princess is all enamored with fake Kensei, not knowing its Hiro since he won't take off the mask all, "You disarm me, if you saw my face I'd be all tongue tied or whatever". But ha, "We have met at an auspicious time"? Hiro trying to be his hero is hilarious. Alas, he's kinda falling for her though, but it cannot be since they're from different times, and besides, he's playing Cyrano to the real Kensei. Later, Hiro meets up and tells Sark that they need to work on this Kensei legend more, and sword princess comes back to give him the sword, all enamored with Sark. So Sark decides to join Hiro on his quest to save her dad, because he thinks it will get him money and into sword princess' pants.

Unfortunately for him, the samurai/bandits jump Hiro and Sark as they leave the bar and turn Sark into a pin cushion with their arrows. Fortunately though, he's a healer like Claire. Which has me thinking this will be how they have him show up in the present if they need him to be- he'll just be around that long (like Captain Jack in Torchwood). And it can address how long Claire and Peter will end up living.

Speaking of Claire, she's decided to go for a new tact at school, instead of hiding, she's all brainy and interested in genetics, particularly when the prof talks about lizards regenerating lost body parts. West is all impressed with the new Claire, but since he was kinda a prick to her last ep, she's not as open to him. He wants her to read the Suresh book and she plays it off like she's never read it nor is she interested in reading it. Oh, and her Nissan Rogue gets stolen! Oh no!

Claire tells Noah (sorry, that still doesn't sound right, I'd rather stick with Bennet or HRG) about what she learned in school, and she's all, what if people can study me and use me to cure diseases and defects? And he's all, what are you crazy? It may sound like a good idea, but if the wrong people get a hold of her, they'll test her so badly she'll wish she could die. But she's curious, so later that night, she cuts off her toe(!) to see if it would grow back. And it does. Only stalker West was outside the window and saw the whole thing. He runs (actually, flies, but Claire doesn't know that), leaving the book on her driveway.

As for her adoptive dad, HRG gets a new (well old) ally at the end- the Haitian! How'd this happen? Looks like the Haitian had the new Heroes disease, so Suresh is sent down there by the Company to find him and cure him. Which he does. Then he mentions he's with the company, and we're meant to think the Haitian erases Mo's memory so he can get away. Well, he did erase Mo's memory, but its like when HRG sent Claire away. I assume Mohinder told the Haitian to go to HRG, and then they erase the entire conversation for security purposes. I mean, Mo knows the Haitian is going there, but I assume he was briefed beforehand on his power, and assumes if he's "lost time", their plan was successful.

The rest? Maya and Alejandro continue to try to make it to America, a possibly Hero healer sensing Maya has a curse inside her that can kill the devil himself. Hmm, I wonder if she'll end up killing the big bad of this season?

Matt and Ando finally meet, albeit briefly, as Matt's one of the investigators on Hiro's dad's death. they find the pic of him with the symbol written over him, which has Ma Petrelli's fingerprint on it. So they bring her in as a suspect. Matt uses his powers to invade her mind and determines someone is out for revenge against her and her former allies. Upon invasion of her mind (which she lets on to Matt that she knows he's reading her mind) she lawyers up. Nathan and his awful beard (shave that damn thing off!!) come to pick her up, and she's either attacked by an invisible assailant or psychically attacked or something, but Matt and Nate manage to get to her in time.

And finally, Peter's being interrogated by the Irish toughs. Like, he was CHAINED to the loading container, its not like he stole the i-pods and they caught him hanging around! But, they beat the hell out of him anyways, and when head tough's sister cleans him up, she tells him he doesn't have a mark on him even though she's sopped up a lot of blood. Anyways, they go out and leave her alone with Peter. He phases through his bonds and is about to escape, when a few n'er do wells come in to the bar to rough up the sister, so Peter goes and rescues her. Head tough is pissed, because even though Pete saved his sister, one of the people he beat up is the son of some gangster they owe money to. So, Peter has to help them with a score to even things out, and in exchange, he'll tell Peter who he is.

This ep is mostly about Linc and Michael and Whistler and his gf (I forget her name) finding out about each other) There's a little bit about Mahone not getting a trial for a year, which I call BS on. Either Mahone is still an FBI agent, and the government would want him back. Or he's a rogue FBI agent, and they still would want him back. I guess the company is keeping him there, but if people recognize Mahone from the news, they know he's a federal agent, and wouldn't they wonder why a federal agent is stuck in a frickin' prison?!

Oh, they figure out Sara's trying to give them clues to their location in the proof of life pics they took of her and LJ. But alas, it take Linc too long to figure it out and get there. One of her clues she's obviously using 12 o'clock and 3 o'clock in terms of direction, but Linc spends most of the time trying to figure out why she's talking about clocks and trying to find one. So the bad guys just narrowly drag them away and drive off. Susie warns Linc not to pull that shit again.

The other big plot was Michael enlisting T-bag to get a hold of Lechero's phone so he could talk to Sara. T-bag reluctantly helps because Michael says he'll tell on him. Well, that he's a murdering rapist pedophile. But not the whole white supremacist thing? I mean, I guess T-bag is a survivor first, but its surprising how much time he spends kissing Lechero's ass. Isn't T-bad a total racist?

Anyways, they get the phone, Mikey and Sara have their little talk, but Michael doesn't put the phone back right on the charging cradle, so Lechero knows somethings up. Fortunately, he thinks there's been problems with his business interests, and I guess T-bag's decided to throw his lot in with Mike, because instead of turning him in, he deflects blame on Lechero's lieutenants, saying he heard seditious talk from them.

On Chuck, Sarah gets a job at the corn dog place across the street from Buy More so she can watch him better. This entails her putting her hair in pigtails and wearing a hot outfit. spcgv('Nice!!') Anyways, in the ep, there's a doctor who could possibly get all the secrets out of Chuck. They hide Chuck's identity from him for the Doctor's safety, as he'd be in danger if he knew who Chuck was. But then the doc is killed, and Sarah and Casey spend the ep thinking the other is a double agent, and we find out the doctor faked his death to try and get a hold of Chuck. Oh and I forgot, during the Doctor's tests, one of the secrets Chuck reveals is that Oceanic 815 was shot down. Heh. (Its kinda funny.) Though that's not the first time a Schwartz show has referenced an ABC hit, if Summer's dad going to work at Seattle Grace is any indication. Now does the head of Tommy the autistic kid count such things as being a crossover? I mean, they seemed to count when Wolfram and Hart said they represented Yoyodyne. Weyland-Yutani, and Newscorp.

The Doc captures Sarah to torture her to find Chuck, but Chuck was right there, so why didn't he grab him then? I mean, if he knew where to find her, he was prolly doing surveillance on her, and hmm, could the secret keeper be the dorky loser a hot girl like her is supposed to be dating?! But Chuck rescues her, and she's all disappointed that he didn't have faith in her, and he apologizes, because he wants to tap that. They both attend Bryce's funeral, but I guess Chuck doesn't know they were an item. (Sarah says Bryce was only her partner)

Finally unlocked everyone in OW. Now I just need to get all the abilities now that I have everyone, and then get their 4ths and personal items. You can get PIs on easy, but some of the things you need to do are easy, some are real complex. 4ths, as I said, all you have to do is a three star or greater stage on hard, or a stage on chaos. Chaos is too hard for me. I got killed within 10 seconds by a couple of peons!!!

Fan Castle is a really short 3 star board with a good number of weapons drops, so I've been doing that stage. However, I don't always get a 4th weapon for some people. Still though, even if I get a 4th, its like 40000 growth points to fuse all the stats off the 3rd I use. So if a three man team all get their 4ths, I can't actually upgrade all of them at once, I have to play another board to earn some more growth points. But I've gotten Zhou Tai's dusk, Keiji's Divine Mandible, Lu Bu's Sky Scorcher (heh, its base attack is 100!), Xu Huang's Marauder, Xiahou Dun's Kirin Fang, Zhang Liao's Blue Wyvern, and Cao Pi's Chaos. I need to get Honda's and Musashi's 4ths.

The thing that struck me about last night's Heroes is that there's this guy who's in hiding, desperate not to be recognized. By far, his most distinguishing feature is his old school glasses, so why the hell is he still wearing them?
