Its all relative!
Aug. 8th, 2007 01:34 pmPop culture trivia question of the day: What popular sitcom featured the subject line of this post as a trivia category? Bonus points: What were the characters playing this trivia game for?
Anyways, speaking of relations, despite them having the same last names, I did not realize Blake Lively (of Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and the upcoming Gossip Girl fame) was the little sister of Robyn Lively. You know, Teen Witch. Or the chick in Karate Kid III. How pathetic is Daniel-San that not only did Elizabeth Shue dump him for a jocko mcletterman, and the Jap girl chose dancing over him, but Robyn let him know right off the back she had no interest in him and just wanted to be friends? Wait, did Pat Morita die within the past few years? That's so sad. But now I've gone off on a weird tangent. It reminds me of junior year English class when the teacher got mad because we had gotten on this weird tangent about talking about the guy who played Tattoo on Fantasy Island and him dying and Andre the Giant being dead, and I remember my biggest high school crush saying how sad that was and then the teacher finally getting pissed off because Andre the Giant and Herve Villachaize had nothing to do with English. Well, other than they spoke it funny.
But I digress, what's the last thing Robyn Lively has been in that was a starring role? Savannah with Jamie Luner of Just the Ten of Us fame? So I had all but forgotten about her, and was thus surprised to hear of the sisterly relation. Its like when I was in Europe, when I was asking
sparkyboy if Robin Thicke was related to Alan Thicke. Only jokingly though, because of the last names. And he was all, yeah, that's his dad. I had never seen the guy (Robin, not Alan, because how could I not have seen Mr. Seaver? Growing Pains rocked! Pop culture trivia question of the day 2: What did Mike try to convince the school his last name really was to get the Jewish holidays off?) but watching the video for "Lost Without U", it was totally obvious because he looks just like his father.
Ah, cool, Soapnet pushed back OTH and the OC an hour back, showing them at noon and 1pm, respectively. But of course, I'm off of the 3-11 shift soon, so its a moot point. Not that I don't have all 4 seasons of the OC on DVD and can watch it anytime if I chose to.
