Its almost 8pm, but its been a long day. (And like England, the keys are on funny places on the keyboard. Its like, why did they switch y and z?!) Just at an internet cafe in the mall below the hotel right now. I replied to some comments from here earlier today, and I wish I knew about this place earlier, as its much cheaper than the hotel. I spent like 2.5 euros for an hours worth of surfing (So I'm at least caught up on most of my sites. Alas, ssh clients aren't commonly found on these things, so I haven't checked my bang mail in a week!), while it cost me three times that for half the time up at the hotel. And its literally just less than 100 feet away too! Case of rum, case of rum.

Anyways, got to wake up later than usual today, 730, as most of the trip have been having to wake up around 5 to 530 since we have to get up early to beat traffic and be able to squeeze everything in. Had a guided tour of Munich from a severe old German lady. She like only gave us 20 minutes to see Nymphenburg, and people were still late so she's all that wasn't "German 20 minutes". But it was a pretty nice place from what I saw, as is the rest of the city. All in all, I'd say Germany as a whole is pretty cool.

But I digress, we got dropped off at the Marienplatz and were made to walk back and do whatever we wanted in the city. Unlike the other glockenspiel, the one here was a little more interesting- it had more moving parts, at least! Then had lunch at some pizza place. Got some pizza (Frickin' frick, I keep tzping piyya and have to keep going back to correct it!) with some sort of red spiced meat that wasn't pepperoni. The cashier girl was a hot German blonde.

Afterwards, went with pops to the Technical Museum. Wandered there for a few hours and still didn't get to see everything. Its a pretty interesting museum, though not all of the exhibits were translated into English, so I didn't know what things were half the time. I got the gist. But between all the walking in the museum and the half hour walk to the hotel, my feet are killing me!

Dinner was a nice buffet with lots of meat. And today's my mom's b-day (And [livejournal.com profile] durlxnemesis as well, so happy B-day to him!) so they surprised her with a cake, which I got a couple of pieces of, which in addition to the chocolate mousse, has made me completely stuffed.
