Who dances from sunrise to sunset the same day every year to try and bring back some lost love? And it especially makes no sense if she left because you can't stop dancing! Though I suppose seeing someone like that is still cooler than the living statue. I mean, who's entertained by a living statue? Of course, its not that hard to be cooler than the living statue! Even the didgeridoo (or the "Didge", as Che would call it) is more entertaining!

On Entourage, to no surprise, Vinnie sleeps with Amanda, and its just supposed to be a one time thing, but since they actually like each other, it isn't. Having such a relationship with your agent is prolly ill advised, but Carla Gugino is frickin' hot, so I can see why he'd want to go beyond a one time thing.

I was also amused how Ari's wife (heh, the captioning refers to her as Mrs. Ari, wait, what is her name, anyways?) changes her tune about Ari's friend after she finds out he's worth $65 million. I know some of it was just to bust Ari's chops, but it still does seem kinda whorish. But wow, Ari actually sleeping with his wife. I remember last season, where his wife was wanting to fool around all the time and he was always too busy, which is retarded, because she's kinda hot.

Also, how could Drama not realize the whole Liddell thing was the real "you got Got!"? I mean, the girl scout thing would be a pretty lame joke. And he shoulda known something was up when the crowd got all hushed when Liddell first spots him in the crowd during the exhibition match.

(out of the cut because it concerns an issue I feel strong about) Oh, and I almost forgot the one thing that really infuriated me about the Entourage ep, when E's on line, and some kids are all, we're cutting in front of you. And he doesn't even care! What the?! That's a throat cuttable offense to me! You don't cut in front of people in line, that's the first step towards total anarchy! There are some rules you don't break, and that's one of them! If people just ignored things like lines, then there would be no order and everything would devolve into chaos! You can't just have everyone walking around willy nilly, how could you have proper distribution of goods and services?!

Oh, after watching Tokyo Drift for the umpteenth time since HBOs been showing it pretty constantly, I thought I recognized the name of the actress who played the Japanese tech girl in Han's little crew. Its Keiko Kitigawa, who played Rei/Sailor Mars in the live action PGSM! Also, watching last night's Cold Case, I was trying to figure out where I had seen the lady playing the widow, but then Tokyo Drift came on, and I was all, "Ah, its the chick who plays Sean's mom!"

Hmm, I think I prefer the version of Zero 7's Destiny showing Sia and that other chick over the rotoscope version. Mainly because I've never gotten rotoscope. I mean, its seems to be used to interesting effect in A Scanner Darkly, but if you're not going to do cool tricks, what's the point? Its like a real image made to look like a drawing, which is only kinda neat. To me, its only really cool if you manipulate things to do effects you can't do in real life.

Rotoscoping, IIRC, is not just for cheesy special effects. It is also often used unbeknownst to you in order to animate actions that are performed in a precise way that are difficult to imitate without a real-life reference.

The example wikipedia uses is the filming of a horse running, where the animators then draw over each frame of the live action version in order to create an accurate depiction of the action for whatever animated film they are working on.
