So, [livejournal.com profile] clevemire reminded me of a few more shows I forgot, so my estimate is up to 51 shows. Of course, a lot of those shows weren't on the same time. Though I guess I also do reviews/commentaries on LJ for a lot of them, so that's still a lot of hours spent.

Hmm, weird, I didn't realize Keri Russell was guesting on this week's Scrubs. I was just talking about her with the usual suspects, I guess after Hot Fuzz, since she figured prominently in one of the movie posters. I think I prefer mostly straight/kinda wavy haired Keri over her traditional freshman year Felicity curly locks. I'd do a poll, but that would entail finding good pictures of both dos and posting them and all that jazz, and I'm just too lazy today. Anyways, I think she's still looking good, though is she more chesty nowadays?

On Smallville, we start with Lex wandering around some underground tunnels that we later find out are connected to some underground facility of his. Anyhoo, he's talking with Lionel when he encounters some chick. Chick blows one of the tunnels, critically injuring Lionel and knocking out Lex. After getting Lex all by his lonesome, she demands where her husband, Helo is. No, she's not Athena. But her husband is played by Helo. Anyways, she gives Lex an ultimatum, fess up, or the tunnels blow in 20 minutes. Lex manages to break free but accidentally kills the wifey, who sets off another bomb trapping him (in the tunnels which are set to explode in 20 minutes), and Clark, who went after him on Lionel's request. Unfortunately, the ground is infested with meteor rock, so Clark is really of no help.

So Clark and Lex try to find a way out, and have it all out on how shitty a friend they think the other is being. Eventually, they get out, and Clark confesses to mom that maybe its his fault and he just didn't give Lex a big enough chance. Wow, so he finally realizes that he's an effin a-hole? Oh, during their time in the tunnels, Clark reveals Lana was going to leave him at the altar and asks what he did to make her marry him. Accusatory much, Clark? And its still taken you this long to realize mebbe this whole Lex falling to the dark side isn't partly your fault with all the judgemental comments and accusations?!

Anyhoo, Lana, on the other hand threatens to kill Lionel in his hospital bed if he doesn't reveal why she threatened to kill Clark if she didn't marry Lex. He doesn't fess up at first, but then she sees some cops bring in a briefcase they found in Lex's car, which she takes. Inside is a CD containing video of an aussie couple being killed by a phantom. It also has some info on the Ares project, showing underground plans that could lead the rescuers to another entrance with which to find Lex, and unbenknownst to her at the time, Clark. But Chloe comes by, and informs Lana that Clark is down there. Lana's not too worried, because Chloe doesn't know she knows Clark's secret, but Lana doesn't know about the whole Krytponite weakness and how the ground was infested with it. So she tells the rescuers about the other exit so they show up right when Lex and Clark escape on their own, right before the tunnels blow up!

Of course, there's some weird time skew going on, because in the 20 minutes that Clark and Lex are in the tunnels, Lana and Chloe go all over town!

Heh, Lana shares a moment with Clark, which unfortunately Lex didn't see, because that would be hilarious.

Lana later again interrogates Lionel on why he did what he did, and he claims it was the only way to protect Clark and put her in a position to watch Lex. Then she threatens to tell Ma Kent what he did if he doesn't tell her all he knows about the fake pregnancy and Ares and the underground facility connected to the tunnel maze. Which contains Helo, who wasn't dead as Lex claimed to the guy's wife!

Oh, in the end, Lana is even more of liar. Lex confronts her on Clark's claim that she was going to leave him. She lies and says its true, but only because she "subconciously knew something was wrong with the baby" and was too scared to face him and everyone at the church!

So Sam and Dean get themsevles purposely thrown in prison to help out an ex-Marine friend of their dad's who is now a prison guard. Apparently, a ghost is making people have heart attacks. At first, they think its some mass murderer who was killed by the guards 30 years ago whom they claimed died of a heart attack. After all, the murders started after they re-opened a closed down cell block containing his old cell, soaked with the blood from his beating. Sam gets there thanks to a timely distraction from Dean and salts and burns the blood. Unfortunately, its not him, its some crazy nurse who was secretly killing inmates by poisioning them and making it look like a heart attack. Apparently, she was also killed in that cell block, having been killed by the inmates during a prison riot.

With the info known, their prison guard friend lets them out and they go to her grave and salt and burn her corpse. Sounds easy enough, right? I neglected to mention in the beginning, as they were sent to the jail, that FBI guy who has a hard on for them shows up asking questions. He even shakes down their lawyer, who had looked up location of killer nurse for them, convinced by Dean's heroic countenance that they were the good guys. So she gives up a location, and you're supposed to think the FBI guys are about to roll up on them, but its obvious she gave the FBI the wrong location.

So, the boys get away easy, and say they need to keep an even lower profile since FBI guy is going after them hard. Geez, mebbe you might not want to drive around in such a distinctive vehicle then!?

All I have to say about this ep, is holy crap, Creed is a huge frickin' a-hole. That, and how the hell is Andy going out with a high schooler? I mean, I know he didn't realize she was in high school, but what about him would appeal to a teenage girl?!
