So on Drive, Alex and Corinna get to do a challenge to possibly shoot ahead since they were "the most improved in ranking" during the last leg of the race. They're given an address to go to, which will tell them the checkpoint after the next to let them shoot ahead of the pack. Sean and Winston (well Winston) gets the idea to follow them. Alex and Corinna blow them off and then they see the address is a bank and they need to steal something out of one of the safe deposit boxes. He doesn't think they can do it by themselves. So they team up with Sean and Winston. They manage to get the box, but not before Sean shoots a security guard (and gets shot by him as well). So Alex drops Corinna and Winston off at a motel, and takes Sean to somehwere, but the ep ends before we find out. Prolly some doctor contact of his back from when he was a criminal who could patch up Sean without warning the authorities.

Wendy is told by whoever is watching her kid that she needs to come pick Sam back up, because weird people are coming around and asking questions. She tries, but Ivy pulls the gun on her saying they can't turn around. Wendy offers the car, but Ivy can't drive!

Ivy's partners have been eliminated from the race, having arrived at the drive-in a day too late. One of them who's name I forget, so I'll call her Not-Leigh. She tells Leigh they God told her they were gonna win, so they can't give up. And through luck (or is it divine providence?) they see army guy and his wife and follow them. Army guy has just found out he's AWOL, and his CO is claiming he needs to come back and face a court martial. So army guy is understandably pissed at his wife. So pissed he throws out the phone, which the NOLA-ers pick up to find the next clue. Which is "Surrender, America", to which the answer is Appomatax (sp?) courthouse. He, that always reminds me of Growing Pains, when Mike cheated on the history test by writing all the answers on the bottom of his shoes, but ended up not needing it as he actually learned the stuff while marking his shoes. Anyways, "Appomatax Courthouse" was one of the thing written on his shoes, and when confronted on it, he claims it was signed by one of the guys on the basketball team nicknamed that, because he was so big (as big as a courthouse, I guess.) But I digress. Leigh figures out the clue, and they head over there, only to be run off the road by a pickup, killing not-Leigh (now we know why she's not in the credits) but not before telling her God told her that Leigh will win the race. So Leigh hitches a ride and makes a silly pun when she tells the driver where to go and he's all "Where Lee surrendered?" And she's all "Not this time!" har-har.

Ah, I'm now 99% sure my Linderman as Ozymandias/the Medusa Web theory is correct. Well, didn't he outright say that he wants Peter to blow up and put Nathan on the fast track to the white house to make the world a better place. Rising from the ashes of tragedy and all that?

Anyways, the Peter/Sylar fight wasn't as exciting as I was expecting. I'm assuming Sylar used the super hearing to detect invisible Peter? Of course, the audience knew Peter wasn't really dead, as they hammer in the whole glass shard embedded in his brain thing being the only reason he's not coming back alive. Good thing Claire was there to figure it out. But how the hell did Mohinder get Peter's body from his apartment, into the cab, and then into the Petrelli's place in broad daylight without anyone noticing?!

So Claire removes the shard, and the brothers have a reunion, then Nathan finally meets Claire. And sends her away to France for a week with Grams until the election is over, since he really needs to win. Though the creepy music playing when he hugs her and claims it will only be a week makes me think it won't be.

Meanwhile, HRG, Parkman, and Ted team up and break out of the factory, HRG thinking instructions to Matt to guide him with what he need to do. And apparently Ted can also do emp pulses. Interesting. But after a little planning at the Burnt Toast Diner (isn't there any other place in Texas to eat?) they decide to go to NY as that's where the company's "Hero detector" is. Matt passes on that he heard Thompson earlier thinking about taking them to Linderman. So he actually is involved with the Company! HRG was apparently clueless, as it was news to him. So Matt mocks him at his middle management status.

Speaking of Linderman, he meets with Niki/Jessica, wanting to meet Micah as he needs him for something. Niki/Jessica refuse, but then it appears she changes her mind and takes Micah to Linderman. Only its not her, its Candace, who must've gone in to the Sanders residence (Oh, yeah, DL left since he can't trust Niki/Jessica, as he has no idea who's actually in control) as Niki. After Micah leaves with Linderman, Candace changes back and sees Niki roll up in her caddy, complementing her on her ride before walking off, Niki oblivious to what just happened.

Anyways, Sylar, having failed to kill Peter and Mohinder, goes after Isaac. But Isaac is all accepting of the whole thing, talking all cryptic. And then Sylar kills him and gains his power, painting an uglier version of that earlier Nathan in the oval office painting.

And finally, at the end, we see Hiro and Ando in the future. Perplexed that the city was still blowed up, they go to see Isaac, unaware he was killed. And they find Future Hiro, who doesn't look too pleases to see them.

Owel, there's some major renovations coming up at work, and I basically have to move a crapload of stuff by the beginning of June, which sucks. Heh, I actually cut up a bunch of pieces of paper and wrote down all the connections I needed to move (since I have sort of free reign on where to put them) just so I could better visualize where I want everything to go. I mean, I have a "plan A" which is also the "lazy plan". Its a pretty straightforward move. But, since I'm moving things around anyways, I can make things more efficient, so I basically have all the scraps laid out on the dining room table right now moving them this way and that to figure out an optimum plan.
