Hmm, shift change is coming up this Sunday, which means its time to flip my sleep schedule. Though I just have to flip it back again come Tuesday. I should have taken more vay-cay. I have about a month piled up, and since we already get days off for the break, I'm only burning like three days worth of actual vacation time.

Frickin' frick frick, I have 80s pop sensation Robin Sparkles' "Let's Go to the Mall" stuck in my head now:

Is it me, or are their dance moves awesome?! What the hell is that one move that kinda looks like the running man, but I don't think it actually is? Its kinda like they're stepping. Also, isn't the robot the most awesome dance move ever? I mean, it looks cool, and even people without rhythm can do it!

I had the 4 Non Blondes stuck in my head earlier because of that video [livejournal.com profile] isabel79 posted and was singing that at work today. (As always, thankfully the ambient machine noise usually hides whenever I do that) Though I'm not sure which song is worse to have stuck in my head.

Oh, and [livejournal.com profile] clevemire was telling my how criteria #1 for my top 5 favorite dramas was a little harsh, as that would knock out shows that are good but might not have heard at first. And why should they be penalized just because I didn't bother seeing an ep when it first aired? Like, I think Freaks and Geeks is pretty good, but is it any less good just because I didn't watch it when I was first on? And even though Heroes is pretty awesome right now, its kinda bold putting it on there even though it hasn't even had half a season yet. So, I'd prolly switch it out for DC. I mean, there were sucky times there during its six season run (and Buffy and Angel had some lame arcs as well), but the good times were pretty good.

OMG, I can't stop watching the He Man video...

What the hell is that mall vid? I've never ever freaking heard of that... Am I living in some cave? And thanks, I had that momentarily stuck in my head too...

And when are you coming home?

OMG! You never heard of Robin Sparkles?!

j/k- its from "How I Met Your Mother". The female character who is not Willow from BtVS had a secret past as a teen mall-pop singer, and they actually filmed an entire video for the show (well, they showed only a minute and a half I think on the actual show, but they made a whole video).

I'm supposedly getting there next Friday night barring any weird delays.

Must have missed that episode. The video had me fooled. It looked like a really cheesy 80's video, but not much more cheesy than say "Oh, Micky." They even used an authentic 80's robot, the Omnibot 2000. I really wanted one of those as a kid.
