Go back to your home on whore island!
Dec. 12th, 2006 08:26 pmHad dinner at La Madeline, the French Country Breakfast, as usual. Seriously, I swear they give me more food each time I go there. Its like the number of sausages I get increases. And I honestly think they must scramble a half dozen eggs for my order. Or as the roomie and I joked, mebbe they're going for an egg-filled omelet. I mean, I like getting lots of food for my money, but it can get a little ridiculous.
Quick recap- Coach does not like Julie and Matt's relationship at all, Lyla is still the school pariah, and Smash hits on the preacher's daughter. Ha, so that's where Chelsea from South of Nowhere went, to Dillon, Texas! So her pops says she went to Africa for some sort of volunteer work, bt its a lie. My guess? She got knocked up and he sent her away to have the baby to avoid scandal and had her come back once she was no longer preggers. Oh, and the coach is totally going to figure out Smash is on steroids. I mean, he definitely noticed Smash's improvement, which he was okay with at first, but seeing Smash's big nose bleeds, I'm sure he'll figure out the roid thing.
The school is just horrible to Lyla. Both Buddy and Tami are sad for her and try to be there for her. But what she wants is for Jason to forgive her, but he just can't. She also almost quits cheerleading (right before the big cheerleading competition!) even though she claims she was just doing it for her parents, but Tim (who is still totally in love with her) convinces her to eff everybody and go to the competition. Why? Because cheerleading makes her as happy as football does him. She does, and she looks happy, at least.
Heh, but the most hysterical part of the ep is the Matt/Julie business. The coach is not pleased. AT ALL! Jeez, he spends most of the time looking at Matt like he wants to take his head off. And heh, despite all his attempts to keep them apart, Julie seems to outsmart him at every turn. But my favorite part is Coach and the wife's comments on Landry. Julie's all "I'm getting a ride from Matt and Landry." Tami's all, "Who's Landry?" and Coach replies, "You know, that Lance kid!" HA!!! Then later when Julie gets that ride, Tami's all, "Who's that with them (Matt and Julie?" and "Bye, whoever you are!" I don't know why I find that awesome, but I do. And Matt calling Tami "Mrs. Coach"? Heh.
Oh and I totally forgot about the Street's parents wanting to sue the school, but it looks like the lawyers are trying to lay the blame on the coach. And Jason's not cool with that. It'll be interesting to see how that turns out.
