Note to self, when looking up "scatman" (for example, like trying to find the lyrics to "The Scatman" or stuff about Scatman Carruthers), its one word. Looking up "scat man" will get you a whole bunch of frakked up links.
Statements that make me come off as a total queer, but I don't care: Do you know what the problem is with a new coupling on a TV show when it first starts out? You get the same clips on 'ship videos on YouTube for the first few weeks or so as there's not enough footage of the sweet and "aw!" and "oh no!" moments in their little mating dance. So while the music may be different, all the shots are almost all the same. I mean, people still do some pretty amazing ones even with the limited amount of footage, but you do start seeing the same things over and over again.
Things I learned about lunch meat: things like turkey and ham and roast beef on their own are kinda bland. Put them all together and its pretty good. What's good on its own? Salami! I would venture to say it is king of the cold cuts. I used to be lukewarm towards bologna, but as of late, I'm thinking, bologna is actually pretty awesome.
Do you know what I'm surprised I never got into? Models! Getting into models. Heh, I don't mean it like that! And taking the meaning like that, the word would be less "surprised" and more "disappointed". Not that I really knew any models to try and get into. My first HS crush, for a while, I thought she might've been a model. I don't mean, "Oh, she's so hot, she coulda been a model!" I mean, obviously, I found her attractive, but one day in math class, disappointed that she wasn't there, I was all "Where's S?" to this dude M. And he said she was at a photoshoot or something, but now I know he prolly meant audition, as she was actually an actress.
But I digress, I mean like models of things. I mean, I like putting things together, I like cars and planes and military vehicles. So you think it would be natural for me to like buy model kits of such things and build them. Not so! I dunno why. Perhaps because I was lazy? Or because when I was a kid, I'd really have no place to put them?
And why is Animal Mother called Animal Mother in Full Metal Jacket (its been a long while since I saw the movie) I mean, if he's a crazy bad-ass, Animal seems fine, what's with "Mother" at the end? Is it short for MFer? Like he's both an animal, and a mucker?
