Okay, this game is totally awesome. Especially with the change in camera and controls. No longer are your movements slow and akward and the camera is in a real horrible angle so you're freaking out and firing randomly and hoping you hit the zombie you can't see. A good thing too since the enemies move faster. Of course, I love any game with a real good aiming system, various guns, and different hit areas.

So hit them in the legs and they trip, shoot them in their arms and they drop the weapon they're holding (particularly funny if they're holding a stick of dynamite cause they blow themselves and their friends up) You can also hbv('Shoot them in the face') (Does anyone know half the voices I drop in these posts? This one is of course Honey Bunny from Pulp Fiction), but for some reason that often only stuns them, even if its a shotgun blast at point blank range. cliffV('What's up with that?!') Which is kinda annoying, because if I immolate some chainsaw wielding maniac with an incediary grenade (twice!) and then stand over his body and empty my shotgun into his head, he should not be able to get up and decapitate me! Its total BS! And he's not even a boss! Resilient motherfucker. Luckily, after doing all that and then putting a few more double taps into his head with my nine finally brought that bastard down.

But anyways, this plays totally different from previous games. Before it was run from the slow zombies and blow their head off with a shotgun if they get too close. Here you hole up behind a wall and snipe a bunch of guys with your bolt action before running and gunning with a bunch of farm tool wielding crazed Spanish villagers. And you can even conserve ammo by leading them near gasoline filled barrels or planted claymores and setting them off with your pistol and blowing them up.

Hey, and you can find various treasures which you can sell to wierd leper guys who'll sell you weapons or customize your guns. And shopping for gun upgrades and accessories is cool. Oh, I forgot to mention the interactive cutsecenes. Often times there'll be times where something happens and the game requires you to press a certain button at a certain time like to run from and dodge a boulder, or to move out of the way at the last minute so the axe wielding crazy cuts your bonds instead of you, or to block attacks during a really awesomely choreagraphed knife fight.

I totally recommend it for anyone with a gamecube. A+D, you need to get this! And it has one of those Mercenaries games that gets unlocked when you beat the game. You play as Leon, Ada, Wesker, Hunk, or this new guy Krauser. Then you can have played/beaten all the RE games (which means you'll be two up on me since I still haven't beaten RE 0 and RE remake)

No, the village starts off with five, I think, and then another five spawn after that, and so forth. If you try to escape to the farm, a chainsaw guy chases you with another set of villagers, and if you hole up in the two story building another 11 villagers spawn as well as another chainsaw guy. The church bell rings and calls off them after you kill 14 of them. Don't go into the really tall tower, because they'll toss molotov cocktails and burn you out, and while holing up in the two story building is cool and exciting, you might want to avoid that because it spawns a chainsaw guy. And while they drop lots of $$ when dying, its not worth it, because I think it takes too much ammo/grenades to bring them down.

Just run around the village and hole up in one of the smaller shacks and just point your gun towards the door and kill them as they come through one at a time, and then when it gets too crowded, run and turn around and toss a grenade. Once you kill 14 villagers, then you'll be free to explore the village.

Its really an awesome game, the boss fights are cool. Oh, and once it turns night, you wanna avoid headshots, because it will actually reveal the parasite inside and make it harder to kill once it comes out. I mean, if you have enough flash grenades, you can auto-kill them with that, but you need those for El gigantes also. You can also use the shotgun and aim for the parasite and hope you can destroy it quick. Also, with the merchants, you might wanna sit down and think about what kind of guns you want/how far you wanna upgrade. You might not want to upgrade them too much until chapter 3, because that's when the better weapons come out. Actually you can prolly get all the possible upgrades the shotgun and free punisher you get for shooting 10-15 blue medallions except for the last capacity one (i.e., expand the punisher to 13 rounds, and the shotgun to 8 rounds), but you only need the rifle for the one area after you get captured. Sell it back after that to save space in your case. So no need to even try upgrading it.
