The weekend's over and its back to work. Dang. Owel, just a few more days until X-mas. Got my gift shopping done yesterday at Lenox and Target. Lots of fine honeys, mad cuties, and haughty hots at the mall. I forgot there's more of those on the weekends. Though not being able to go to the mall on the weekdays now means I prolly won't eat at the foodcourt there that often and the lady at the steak place will forget me and no longer give me free refills.

Anyways. what else this weekend? Friday tried out Exalted with

toqueville. Interesting system, and now that I've gotten the book, I think I'm getting the hang of it. As always, too many cool things to get and not enough points to get them with. I got the book at Sword of the Phoenix, along with some new d10s. Since I hadn't been in such a long time, I wasn't sure if my memory was failing me, but the girl there on the weekends is indeed a cutie.

Saturday, had Dim Sum at the Oriental Pearl with the roomie and C-Note. It was very filling. Though what the hell, do they try to put little shrimp bits in every freaking thing?! But whatever, just give me lots and lots of pork buns. farvav('Its delicious!') I mean, sure there's more than a few things I don't care for on the menu, but the different kinds of meat pastries make up for it. I mean, who doesn't like a bun stuffed with meat, except for commie pinkos and hippies? Anyways, afterwards, did a LotR Extended Edition marathon with them and

clevemire and the roomie's friend from HS. Alas, none of that cool cheese dip for the chips, as the roomie thought that would've been overkill. Bah! Though it would have been messy to make. And the popcorn wasn't buttery enough. And damn, I'm getting hungry again, and I could've gone and gotten a sausage biscuit at Junior's right now to appease my hunger, but they're closed!!! Anyways. RotK Extended Edition was pretty interesting, I still think Two Towers: EE is the best. I haven't read the books, but I hear they changed a lot. There's the Saruman scene at Isengard. Which while very amusing, was so cliche! And then there's Gandalf vs the Witch King, which the roomie was extremely pissed at how that turned out. And I didn't really feel the Eowyn/Faramir scenes. So why do they hook up? I guess the movie is long enough, they didn't have enough time to cover that in too much detail. And could Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli be any more bad ass? Though Eomer is pretty tough himself. Again, its pretty good, but not the best. Though watching the three EEs back to back is taxing. When RotS comes out on DVD, mebbe we'll do a ep1-6 marathon. And it'll prolly be a long, long time before a Potter marathon could be done. But that should be 7 movies to cover the entirety of Harry's Hogwart's experience. Unless there's more books after that.

Tried to go to the KFC for dinner last night to get some popcorn chicken, since I've never had it and want to know what the big deal is, but it was closed for an employee party! Blast! One of these days.

Oh, and I forgot to mention this weird dream I had last night. I can't remember what it was all that well, only that I'm tired as hell this morning because I didn't get a good night's sleep because of it. I don't think it was really a nightmare, because it wasn't too scary. But it was a liitle taxing. I must've been a mix of fear and stress. I know I was on the run, and there was a little bit of the supernatural in it. It also had Oz, Angel, and Faith from BtVS. I remember hiding in a supermarket from Oz, because he was looking for me because I did something bad or cheated him on a deal or something. Maybe I was a bad guy in this dream. I also remember pretending to be someone else to fool this girl's father and get in her pants. And there was something with her getting pregnant and the kid being special or something (as in powers, not retarded). The last part though I was talking to some other girl and Faith, who was sitting at a desk in a short skirt and going commando. Then Angel comes in and I sneak behind him and stab him in the back and then arrange his unconcious form on some symbol on the floor with a couple of demons and a fallen angel to do some weird spell. And some insects flew through the energy coming from the symbol and became evil demon insects, which I was trying to kill before they got out and escaped. But then I woke up.
