Holy crap, its freezing out there, and that's literally! Anyways, spec-ed out a new rack. How long did it take me last time? I think I've got it down to an art form, It looks like around two hours, but I had to take like a twenty minute break checking the chillers because the temp in this room was shooting up. Alas, I did not know that they were experimenting with the new settings for the air handlers now that we have all those Dell high performance racks. Those things sure put out a lot of heat. But of course, there's finding the fine line between keeping those cool and not making it unbearably cold in here. I think we can err a little on the cold side. I prefer to put on a jacket then deal with trying to cool down a bunch of overheating 'puters any day.

I sure do watch too much TV and movies. For example, a recent post I made to gtg:

But you know if the victim's boss is played by like James Brolin (bsv('I'm glad I married a normal person and not a celebrity!')) and is "we didn't know each other very well," that he's obviously lying, because he's famous! Anyways, that ep on TNT with Michael Mckean and Annette O'Toole was kinda cool, because he was one of those self-actualization guru millionaires, and he had like hit her like once six years ago, so she waited and then made it look like she was having an affair with some other guy so Mr. Green blows him up and then at the trial she begged the lawyers to not give him the death penalty because it was her fault for being weak and succumbing to passion. And everyone believed it, including St. Hubbins himself, but they were all suckers because she just did that so he could rot in jail for the rest of his life while she lived it up on the millions Lenny made suckering people.

I guess with our criminal system, if he gets convicted of the murder, and she talks to the lawyers later and implies she suckered him into it, they can't do jack?

And what's with married couples playing married couples on TV? Like the aforementioned MM and AOT. Then there was John Ritter and Casey from Wings. And like Harry Hamlin and Lisa Rinna on Veronica Mars. And I'd be skeptical of him as an action star. And what's with him playing actors who are action stars, he did that on the "Movie Stars" show with Marne Patterson, that hot blonde chick with the nice rack who her stepbrother had a crush on in that show "Something So Right". That show ("Movie Stars" not "Something So Right") had Frank Stallone, Don Swayze, and Joey Travolta. Do they only get roles where they make fun of themselves for being the lesser known siblings of famous actors (though what has Patrick Swayze done lately?)

Although I'm realizing now I didn't mention how MM & AOT and JR & AY played married couples on multiple things. Like MM & AOT played Topanaga's parents. And Casey and Jack Tripper on Wings and the Problem Childs. Its like, I'm surprised she didn't end up playing JD or Ben's mother. And what's with Ed playing people's brothers recently? He's someone who plays a lot of similar characters. You know, like how Chandler plays very Chandler like characters in the movies he does. Though he prolly wasn't as wacky when he did that stint on the West Wing. And now I'm realizing I'm referring to characters on TV shows without actually referencing the TV shows, so I'm sure most people don't know what the hell I'm talking about.

Anyhoo, only thirty minutes before lunch, which is good, because I'm starving. I was really pissed about the food court being closed yesterday. I'm gonna try junior's today, and if its closed I shall be "very put out" and "terribly vexed" (pop quiz: name the movies and characters who I'm referencing!) I'm sure its open, though yesterday I was so hangry (its a portmanteau!) I was threatening to rip the larynx of the person responsible for this shocking dismayal. Speaking of, that was one of the coolest parts in "Love, Honour, and Obey". Its like totally bad-ass!

I also totally forgot to mention how I can be a moron at times. When reading the latest Penny Arcade, I was all, "glasses with TV's in them?!" thinking they were talking about drinking glasses, and I was like trying to figure out how they would work and why would you need a cup with a mini-TV on it. So I mention this to the roomie as we had dinner at IHOP and he was all, they meant eyeglasses. Now that makes a lot more sense. That would be totally cool too, though. I mean, who wouldn't want glasses that were like TV screens, those would be awesome! You can play games and watch DVDs on the go, and in the future you could like plug it into your cell and do like a video phone thing, though I don't know how you'd get a video image of yourself for the other caller. Or in the military, attatch it to a gun mounted camera so you can shoot around corners and stuff. Oh wait, they have that already. But seriously, its the next best thing to a retinal display!
