Random musings and... and... TWINS!!

Spent the last couple of hours installing power in the new racks. So that was fun, though its the first time in a while that I didn't do the rack set up from start to finish. Anyways, I like it when days where I get to tool it coincide with days I wear cargo pants, because it makes things much more convenient. Instead of walking back and forth or up and down to get this or that, I can just reach down into my pants (dirty!) Though I realize I should start carrying my leatherman around again. There are times when I need a blade, and that's the only thing not in the toolboxes. I mean, why would they need it, I think the majority of people here carry pocket knives on them.

I'd like to think I'm psychic, but I'm most likely I lucky guesser. I mean, I've tested well for precognition and there are times where I'm like "Whoa!" but that's prolly cause I only remember the times when I successfully predict something happening. Like last night's world series of poker, this guy gets pocket 7s. So I say to the roomie, its too bad the other guy is gonna get pocket kings. And he does! I'm sure there are times where I've said something like that before, and it didn't come true, but I end up chalking those situations as the flukes, and not the lucky guesses.

I only found out yesterday Nina Sky is a pair of twins, neither of whom are named Nina Sky. I know, I'm like living under a rock! The video for "Move Ya Body" used to confuse the hell out of me, because the artist was Nina Sky, and I was all, which one is Nina? And who's this other girl who looks like her? Is it just a back up singer who looks a lot like her, or is she trying to be like Kylie Minogue in that one video? But then I finally looked it up and found out what the whole deal was.

Dang, now that I got the first GitS:SAC, that means I'm going to go and start getting the rest of them when they come out. It looks like the second one comes out in September, and I hear there's like 26 or so eps total. Dammit, I hate it when I get into a series that hasn't fully been released yet. I'd much prefer just being oblivious, then find it, and be all, "Cool, let me pick up the rest of them!" Cowboy Bebop was like that, but Noir wasn't. Then again, it seemed like the DVDs were released pretty quickly. Anyways, the GitS DVD has some trailers on it. I still need to check out Witch Hunter Robin (do you have those, turdburgler?) and the trailer for Yukikaze looked pretty cool.

I've had some pretty intense, vivid dreams as of late, but I can't seem to remember what happened in any of them afterwards. The last dream I remember, I was being attacked by evil demonic midgets. Of course, dream me has always been extremely brutal, savage, and violent when it comes to fighting. So I totally beat the hell out of them. But then the roomie and clevemire were there and looking at me sternly for doing such a thing. And I was all, "But they're evil!" but they were all, "Forgiveness is the way!". Its like, WTF?!

The final WHR DVD is out this month some time (maybe next week), so I'll be picking it up as soon as it is. I planned on loaning it and heatguy j to you whenever i had the complete series; i think you'd like both of them. Last Exile too, but it'll be December before that one's out. Oh yeah, and Saikano, but that's September. Just a lot of stuff, I guess. I'll show 'em to ye Friday.

I need to remember to go by Best Buy tonite or something; they're having that 20% off sale on anime and that could possibly making it more worth buying there than DDD. Hmm...

Ah cool. I caught some of Last Exile on G4-TechTV, looks pretty cool. So I'm familiar with all that stuff but Saikano, what's that? Heh, with all that and me starting to collect GitS-SAC and Yukikaze, I won't be lacking anime to watch.
