Jul. 29th, 2004 10:13 amHmm, a mostly quiet morning so far, though the bossman was slightly pissed this morning. Anyways, got my shift trade for next semester approved, and spoke with T about project hours. Looks like I'm gonna be on the exact same schedule I am now. Of course, that's always subject to change. I mean, who knows what'll happens at the big meeting tomorrow? And there's something coming up at the end of August that I should keep mum about that may also influence things.
Oh look, A is there at the window. I wonder why she's been covering morning/afternoons these past few days? I guess cause she's graduating and is thus done with school, and thus has free time with which to pick up what is practically free money. She was telling me yesterday it'll be party time for her starting tonight and through the weekend. I guess
psyched_out is gonna be there for some of that. (Don't forget to see if that is indeed our old roomie there tonight. Its prolly not, but if it is, that would just be too weird!) Ah, gradulation. Which means Fall semester is coming up soon and incoming freshman hotties! Although, they're like a decade younger than me now. That means come September, I'll have been Atlanta for ten years! Where does the time go?
But it also means the college football season. Now, I have nothing against college football, just the annoying parking situation it creates when you have to work here on the weekends. And if the game ends at 7pm, it'll take me more than an hour to get home even those its a less than ten minute drive! I should look up the schedule to see which Saturadys I will have to deal with that crap. Ideally, I would have liked to work days, so I can actually have the weekends free. But alas, no, not this coming semester.
