Owel, its been just another week so far. Came into work Memorial Day. Nothing really good on the telly, so just watched the Law & Order marathon on TNT. Only minor problems that day. I was amused because I was talking to mom on my mobile the day before and when she found out I was working Memorial Day she was all "Don't you get that day off?" So I responded, "Well, I volunteered." And she's all "You're always working!" and acting like I'm this workaholic! Ha! I mean, its no big to work the holidays on dayshift anyways. For one, its usually quiet. Though if something does break that actually does effect people, it sucks slightly more than if it breaks on a normal day, because then you start having to track down people who are out and about and will prolly be annoyed you're paging their ass since its their holiday. And two, if anything is going on, I'm off at 3 anyways so that's still plenty of time to do stuff.

As a perfect example, after work that day headed pver to

zarathustra94 and

turdburgler to slay elves along with

sstrickl and

hippieatheart. C had the grill going, so feasted on bacon cheeseburgers and brats and Tostitos and multi-layer dip and strawberry cake the roomie made. Got back that night and saw the usual suspects were playing Trivial Pursuit (instead of pokering it, shocking!) but they would alternate questions between the Lord of the Rings edition and the edition with Qs from the last 20 years. Don't know who finally won that, but the roomie said he thought I would've done pretty good had I played. He felt he rocked on the LotR Qs and that

clevemire was best at the 20th anniversary edition Qs. But, he thought I was prolly more well rounded knowing more about LotR that B and more about the last 20 than himself.

Picked up Eurotrip on DVD. I missed this on the theatrical release since I had gone to the Philippines during that time. Not a bad movie. Of course, I'm also a moron amused by stupid stuff. KK is looking hot (though she's hardly in it), and Dawnie is all growed up from her Buffy days, looking totally sexy mad-cute. Did find it weird that Matt Damon showed up in such a weird throway role, playing the rocker dude who was screwing KK behind the main character's back and making a song about it. Its like, he's a big star right now, what a random role to take!
