RLC is indeed too short to play Katie Holmes. And that would be a sucky threesome. I mean, the only thing worse would be RLC and Mandy Moore as a brunette. First of all, there's too much height difference, and second, they have almost the same hair color. Its just terribly uninteresting. Now I'm not saying, if I were Dawson, and my hot tomboyish best friend who's not actually my soulmate because everyone knows she belongs with my other best friend, and the girl I saw posing naked for the aforementioned girl's art class so I hired her to play her in the supposed non-autobiographical but actually is movie of my life made amends and propositoned me for a threesome I wouldn't go for it. Because only a moron turns down a threesome from two hot chyx! Its just one of the things you go for, even if you have to grow a skeezy moustache and get wall to wall carpeting afterwards. And its not unappealng, it just doesn't stand out. Its like if you saw the two of them together, you wouldn't immediately think, "I'd like a threesome with that pair!"

Of course, maybe the problem is, most people don't see two cute girls together and evaluate the quality of the threesomeness immediately, and I'm just screwed up in the head

Well, I mean of threesomes you would actually go through if given the chance! They'd just be far down the list. I think the three key items are differing hair colors, similar heights, and a unifying theme. Alas, Katie Holmes and RLC only hit one of the three requirements (unfiying theme: both on Dawson's Creek, particularly playing Dawson's hot tomboyish best friend in real life and in his movie). The top of my list, the Kristin Kreuk/Elisha Cuthbert 3 hits all three: similar heights (between 5'2" and 5'4"), differing hair color (black and blonde, respectively) and unifying theme (canadian). Or another good example, Lindsay Lohan and Hilary Duff with 1, 2, and the unifying theme of both being feuding teen singer/actress starlets.

Of course, the unifying theme is the most complex factor though. Like back in high school, a three between some hottie blonde cheerleader and like a mousey-brainy brunette could possibly rank higher than just two chyx on the cheerleading squad with different hair. One would have to take many considerations into account. The faux-nerd cutie + cheerleader has "the total opposites" theme going for it and would most likely rank higher unless the two cheerleaders were sisters or sisterly best friends.

Of course, like Rick Springfield wanting to tell Jesse's girl that heloves her, the point is probably moot. Because 1) let's face it, I wouldn't turn such a thing down and 2) the likelihood of me getting a threesome is slim, but the likelihood of me getting multiple threesomes is non-existent, so its not like there's a point to coming up with a ranking system.
