geebsIs it me, or is Liz Phair's "Why Can't I" song in every romantic comedy (or at least the trailers/commercials for them) right now? Its like that and anything by Michelle Branch. Just watching some romantic comedy type movie on ABC family right now with 90210's David and Carly Pope and Sara Rue from Popular. (Who was considered the prettier of the two main chyx, Carly Pope or Leslie Bibb?) Hey, there's nothing else on. And its a welcome break from the disaster an hour ago. First, D had to leave to go to the doctor because he threw his back yesterday, and the pain eventually was too much for him. Then X failed, and then Y, and still hadn't heard back from the network team about the issue from this morning. It was like, could anything else go wrong? But X is fixed, and Y was purposely taken down. So things are uncer control for now.
Owel, finally saw Silence of the Lambs for the first time this morning. It was pretty neat. And I knew the whole "puts the lotion on" thing was from this movie, but there were a couple of other things there that other movies have referenced that I didn't realize came from SotL. But I thought it was supposed to be really scary? It wasn't that scary. Speaking of movies, saw Van Helsing with the usual suspects. It was okay, had some good parts, but the Dracula guy was awful! Its like, he couldn't choose between being over the top or normal, and just ended up being silly, and not in a good way. And the brides were just awful. Cringe-worthy at times. But the best thing you can say about the movie is Kate Beckinsale is totally hot.
