Hmm, I figured I would posted something Sunday about the shift change, but apparently not. Anyways, came in to work Sunday, as I'm back on weekend days. The day seemed to breeze by, thanks to watchable movies on the HBOs and Techknow. That's the key to getting through those 12 hours shifts, decent things on the telly. If there's nothing decent on, the day seems to go on forever. So what did I watch? I don't recall the order but I know the first was Matrix: Reloaded on HBO. There was also Mr. Deeds, Big Fish, Matrix: Revolutions, and Kill bill Vol. 1.

Then I had my "weekend", Monday and Tuesday (which I guess makes Wednesday mornings my Monday mornings). Got some errands done, watched "Mean Girls". It was actually okay. And LL looked pretty cute in that, she needs to stick with the red hair and shy away from the fake tanning. Oh, I also finally watched Pitch Black. Just in time for Chronicles of Riddick. I thought Pitch Black was a decent sci-fi horror flick, albiet a bit cliched. And CoR looks kinda cool, though the trailer makes it look like they live in some far eaching galactic empire, what with the massive statues and the cities that look like they're patterned after Ancient Egypt. Pitch Black however, seemed more similar to things like Aliens and Starship Troopers (well, obviously, but I meant beyond the bug thing) or even B5 or Blade Runner. Where the setting is somewhat similar to our modern day. Ida know, I guess it seems to me that they just took the Riddick character and threw him into a totally different kinda univerese.

Hmm, could they actually be moving forward on the Luke/Lorelai front. That was funny though, when the tape starts asking those questions, and Luke was all "whoa!" Its like, he's only now realizing that? And interesting, Asher isn't dumping Paris. I was getting slightly suspicious. I mean, they did keep on dropping anvils like "Asher does this every year" and other little things where they made it look like Asher was gonna kick her ass to the curb. But once they surprised everybody by having Richard screw over Digger when the whole rest of the season you thought Digger was the one who was going to be the saboteur, I shoulda figured they were gonna make everyone be wrong about Asher dumping Paris. Though I guess he technically tried to dump her at first (well cancel their big trip, which one could argue is just half a step away from dumping), and maybe the whole "you're different" and having all these places picked out that they could've visiedt it in England if she went with him and then saying she's young and shouldn't be held back like an old fogie like him is a clever little way to brush her off and still come out smelling like roses.

Though I was a little confused by Rory's behavior in the hospital when Asher's granddaughter who she obviously thought was some other chickie he was seeing sat next to her. I mean her whole snide, "He's all yours, girflriend!" comment sounded like she was about to chastize him once he and Paris came out and they bumped into this other girlfriend and he tried to explain himself. But obviously, that's not what happened when they came out, he quickly introduced the girl as his granddaughter, and then Rory walks away embarrassed, like she had put her foot in her mouth when in reality she didn't do anything embarassing at all.

And from the previews that next week, apparently Jess will listen to Luke's corny tapes and it will inspire him to ask Rory to run away from him (and do what, live in a hovel like he does now?!) at the exact same time Dean does? Well, Dean prolly deosn't profess his love for Rory, he's prolly just their to visit and get some advice.

I'm amused by the fact that Tony's having a somewhat easier time playing mole because his wife got kidnapped than Jack did. I mean for Jack in 1st season, it was this big to do and he had to constantly ask for help. Tony's doing it all on his own!

Doesn't anyone lock their doors in Tree Hill. They should. Especially Peyton! I mean, both Hayley and Lucas were able to get all the way to her room (and even hover over her bed without her knowing). Which is not good given she has a totally psychotic bitch gunning for her. And maybe its because I'm a male pig, but I do think Hayley is over-reacting just a bit. I mean, I don't have a problem with her saying it creates these standards that girls can't live up to and they end up hurting themselves physically and emotionally trying to achieve that level. Because I guess it does. But I think she's being a little too hard/expecting a little too much from Nathan.
