Damn, its only 835 and its already been a taxing day. Alone on shift right now, which used to not suck too much but does when I'm tired and can't see. But there's a magic folding box thingie here! I wonder if something cool sill happen if I fold it in a certain way? Of course, maybe I shouldn't, I don't wanna get something Hellraiser-y.

Anyways, here's the rest of the trip:

2/29 - Just lounged around grandma's house, sang some karaoke, hung out with the cuzzes, watched the uncut version of American Wedding and most of Pirates of the Caribbean. Missed the end since we had dinner with my dad's uncle (or something). The guy sure has a lot of dogs. Anyways, went to some place where he knows the owners and had my first burger since I got here.

3/1 - Flew back to Manila. Got in trouble with the security guard who thought I thought I was so great. Its like, he was talking to me in Filipino and not letting me in, so I shouted to get my dad's attention from inside. The guy was all "Why are you raising your voice?" and all I should be more respectful. Screw him, he was being a dick.

This new hotel we stayed at, the Shangri-La was even fancier than the last place. The bathroom even had a big shower. Well, not a big shower, but close. And saw they had this interesting channel on the telly that showed anime all the time. And they had a big breakfast buffet every morning. Anyways, the night sucked because we were stuck in traffic picking up Meg then Tita Marita and we ended up having to eat on the AF base where she was a colonel.

3/2- My mom's co-worker's son drove us around Tagatagay(sp?) Drove up some mountain and enjoyed the view, had lunch at a fancy place, went to ferdinand Marcos' summer home which was now a tourist attraction. Met Glanda and Jures brother Manressa for dinner at Friday's. I was quite disappointed that the cajun chicken fingers there don't have a creole mustard dipping sauce, just plain honey mustard. And I think my aunt abhorred the place.

3/3- met back up with [livejournal.com profile] durlxnemesis' mom and had lunch with my Grandma in NY's youngest brothers family. He was kinda senile and restless. Getting up and walking around and lyning back down every few minutes. Had dinner with my dad' friend at some fancy Chinese restaurant. My dad's ex-coworkers were there with their wives. I felt a little out of place since it was all old couples. And they looked all professional and busy what with talking on their mobiles every few minutes. We went to my dad's friends condo afterwards. Pretty nice place. Saw the latest pictures of his daughters, they were pretty cute. But alas, they both have long-time bfs. And their brother Brian has a ginormous computer. The case was huge!

3/4- Met one of my mom's childhood friends at the church she worked at, and had lunch at Jollibee's. Not too bad a place. Their cheeseburger was alright. That day, saw two churches, visited my mom's collehe. Then spent an hour trying to hunt down a cab, but none of them wanted to go back to the part of town our hotel was at because then they'd be stuck in traffic for the next several hours. Finally, got a cabbie who took us to one area where the cabs would drive to our hotel.

It was my last night in the Philippines, so had dinner at the Outback. My second cousin Deevee had come to visit. She worked nearby at some call center. Al, Meg, Monique and their mom and that cousin of their's whose name I can't recall (Oh wait, it was Krantz!) met us there too. Al and Krantz wanted to take me out on the town, but I had to get up early so I had to decline.

3/5- flew back home with [livejournal.com profile] durlxnemesis' mom. Alas, the flight back didn't have those personal TV screens. And then I fell asleep and missed their showing of "Love, Actually". Dammit. Not that i could've really seen it, I was sitting in a place that was too up front to see the screen in my section but too far waay to see the screen in the next section. Owel, I'll see it eventually. Same people who saw us off picked us up, except for Tita Nette. Drove home and watched the OCs I had timered to record up at my parents house. And that was my trip.

Thankfully not! Luckily, I'm not a big corn fan either.
