Feb. 13th, 2004 11:44 amRan out real quick to grab a grilled cheese w/bacon and fries from Junior's. Dave told me they were having pizza upstairs since that one guy was leaving, but I would feel guilty having that as my lunch, especially since I don't know the guy. I dunno, its like getting a free meall without having done anything to desseve it. I mean, a slice or two might be okay, but I don't want to end up grabbing more than my fair share because I'm hungry. Besides, this way I can have my bacon and grilled cheese AND leftover pizza! Heh, and I wonder why I'm starting to get a gut. I need to start working out, mostly so I can look better shirtless. I mean, I can't in good conscience admire myself in the mirror if I'm so out of shape!
Anyways, when I went to the student center to grab some cash. They were giving out free condom-grams. Remember kiddies, while abstinence is the most effective birth control and protection from STDs, one should know what measures one can and should take if one decides to engage in sexual sctivitiies! Its to promote sexual awareness week or fomethng. Although I'm skeptical people can be so misinformed about sex. Its prolly just seeing exaggerations on TV, but I can't conceive of someene thinking you could get preggers by making out in your undies, or get gonorrhea from sitting on a dirty tractor seat in a bathing suit. I mean, didn't they learn that stuff in school? Then again,
psyched_out said they didn't even learn about dinosaurs or astronomy at his school (rube!) so if these kids don't hear it from their parental figures or "the streets", where are they gonna learn it? There's always TV, I guess.
And another thing, I would think the condom grams would work if a girl gave it to a guy (because what man doesn't like the promise of sex?) but fall a little flat vice-versa. I mean, the guy is practically giving her something that's really for him, to use on her! It just doesn't seem like a very nice gift to give a girl.
