Owel, on Tuesday, went to the Lenscrafter's I had my prescription done at last August to check on my increasingly worsening vision since their doctor there already has me on file. I figured having to jack up the font size at work and still have to be two inches from the screen and not being able to read unless I took off my glasses were signs of a pretty big problem. My cataracts have worsened to the point that they want me to go into eye surgery as soon as possible. So I'm trying to get that set up. But they gave me a new prescription at the eye doctor so I could at least see somewhat normally. Well, out of my right eye. My left eye is too far gone right now. Actually, I can see out of that eye, its just everything looks like I'm seeing it through a very smudgy window. And unlike Pacey, there's no Joey Potter to see that will suddenly make the smudges go away. (ha!) Owel, at least its not my aiming eye. Thank goodness for being right eye dominant.

But they said the surgery is quick and easy and I should be able to see fine after that. Because vision is very important! I mean, you use it for shooting, watching TV, surfing the net, playing video games, admiring the hotness of mad cuties, and other important stuff like that.

Speaking of, Krug got past that one part, so I can play X-2 again! And with the AP Egg, leveling up should go much quickly, especially for the berzerker and alchemist classes. Heh, on Gilmore Girls on Tuesday, Lane's band (still with Sebastian Bach) had a gig at CBGBs. I was talking about that place with psyched_out when he and the wife were up in NYC. I kept seeing people with shirts with cbgb on it and I was all, what be that place? I know, I've lived in NYC for about 18 years, and Scott knows more about a lot of places there than I do.

Owel, no OC last night, but at least Smallville and Angel were new. Smallville was pretty cool, what with the Lana/Chloe girlfight spilling into the girls' lockeroom and the hot hacker chick. Although really, what's up with Lana being all Pink Power Ranger this year? I know they wanted her to be less helpless. but she looks like she can kick serious ass. And is Chloe just using the pseudoym Lois Lane temporarily, or will Clark eventually meet her "cousin" in the future? And while I've heard that Adam guy isn't Bruce Wayne, I guess it wouldn't have been that far of a stretch given his mysterious skill set.

Angel was interesting with the psycho slayer. I was trying to figure out who she was before hand, since her imdb credits included a block of 24 eps. I asked the GMA, and he didn't know and then I remembered that whole part where Kim found Rick and then there was the drug deal and her getting arrested. He had totally forgotten about that part of the first season. So there are thousands of Slayers now? And how is Dana an anamoly just because she was insane? Do they forget Faith? Okay, she's not as far gone as Dana, but I would think if there are that many active slayers surely you'd expect one or two crazy ones. And if they hadn't been found by the Watchers, more than a few that weren't "model citizens". I mean, you get super strengh and the ability to survive getting hit by cars or getting stabbed and thrown off a building, and aren't told why, you'd get people using such powers for their own gain.

And then you can walk into a classroom at the beginning of a semester here and fool people into thinking your the instructor.

But still, I think I've been to more places in Manhattan that one week and a half than I have the previous 26 years of my life. And the trick to Mickey D's is just walk in any direction from where you are and you'll bump into a Mcdonalds within 5 blocks!
