Damn, I was just saying in my last post how I really need to get more sleep and I end up getting even less sleep last night. Between Wednesday night TV, finishing up a story (and I don't think I did a very good job on it, of course, I never think I do) and hanging with the usual suspects, the night just seemed to fly by. Owel, its almost the weekend.

And now for my usual Wednesday night TV commentary:

Summer amused tonight. Yeah, she kept cock-blocking Seth and Anna and tried her best to be a royal pain in their ass, but it was mostly harmless I think. Okay, well maybe that brother-sister comment scquicked them out enough to put an end to any amorous intentions for the night. Its a little bratty (hey, she's not used to not getting the guy), but its "endearing" bratty and nowhere near "annoying" bratty territory. Then again, maybe I'm just biased because I was pushing for Seth-Summer as opposed to Seth-Anna. Well, that and I've always been most attracted to the Summer-type. But I digress.

Now that Oliver guy, that's someone who's actively trying to break up someone. And I really can't stand people who pull off the crap he did to get people's attention and feel sorry for him. Actually, he's the kind of guy I've always hated, its like they rolled everything I hate into one guy. First, he's a cocky, pretentious, know-it-all who talks condescendingly but acts like he doesn't mean to sound condescending. Second, he has all these things going for him, and acts like his life sucks and is so damn tough. Third, he's one of those slimy guys that hangs around other guy's girlfriends pretending he just wants to be their friend when in reality he's just trying to sabotage her relationship with her bf so he can get with her. And Marissa, wtf? Screw her. Yeah, a bf should be secure enough and be okay with his gf hanging out with guy friends. But the girl can't fault her boyfriend for being mad when the guy friend is constantly running him down and making him look like an idiot. It is kinda annoying that they make the other characters blind to the obvious. (Though surprising that they make Luke the only other one who notices it. I was hoping he and Ryan would take Oliver out into woods when Marissa wasn't looking and kick his ass) The girl being blind I understand, but Seth is supposed to be his best friend! How can they have him not only not notice, but as seen in the previews, defend the prick!? But getting back to Luke, its interesting how they turned him from jock-dick to goofy fratboy-ish friend. I mean, of all the characters, Summer and Luke seem to have done a complete 180 from the way they were portrayed in the first few eps. Not that that's a bad thing.

Joseph was pissed when Lex "forgot" everything he learned about Clark. Ida know, it is lame, but the way he talked, it sounded like he might be faking the forgetfulness. And that Adam guy, just another guy brought in for the sole purpose of driving a wedge between the main couple. And he follows the formula of getting into a TV-girl's pants to a tee. Its starts with making her think she's wrong about him by giving a very bad first impression followed by a really great second impression when she's in need. Then, its followed by looking wise and worldly and inflating her ego while making it look like you're not interested in her as anything more than a friend. And seriously, could they make Clark and Lex's relationship any more gay? I mean, it even looked like they were almost about to kiss in the end!

And what were all those guys doing in a mental institution insted of juvie or jail? I can see the Van guy being there because while he did kill a bunch of people, he thought they were all freaks with super powers (well, they were, but the docs aren't gonna believe that). Leech boy, I can't remember if he killed his dad or not, but he wasn't crazy, he just abused Clark's powers once he got them. I can't see any case for putting him in a mental institution instead of jail. Multiple-boy, he's a murderous sociopath with delusions of grandeur, I think it would be a toss up whether he should be imprisoned or sent to a mental hospital. He does seem like he has the makings of a serial killer, and the majority of those caught seem to be jailed, not institutionalized. Then again, he was also a minor. I don't know how the law works in cases like that. Of course, it would be really silly if they were all in there because they thought some boy name Clark Kent had super powers. You'd think the doctors would get suspicious that four different guys who don't know each other have the same delusion.

Funny ep. Fred's looking a little too skinny. She needs to get some meat back on her bones. I've always thought she was mad cute, but the bony body is kinda taking her down a few notches. And who doesn't like the Harmony character? She's hot, and she's actually pretty funny. And I always enjoy "A day in the life" eps of TV series.
