The 100- Yikes, what are you doing show? I think part of the problem is for some reason the show decided to try and be Game of Thrones. I mean, there was a lot of slaughter and death in the first two seasons, but for the third season, they seemed to want to up the shock factor, not realizing it would actually alienate its current audience, not draw in more viewers.
But yeah, I hate using the words triggering or problematic, because I think they get thrown around too much and inappropriate cases. But in this case, I think the words are appropriate. ( spoiler cut )

Legends of Tomorrow- So I didn't realize Per Degaton was being the recently decapitated Aden from the 100, but even weirder is the scene where Vandal Savage gives him the dagger, its Lexa's dagger. Is it a weird inside joke since they're both on the CW, all, "hey lets let his mentor on Legends of Tomorrow give him the dagger belonging to his mentor on the 100"? Or is the studio cheap and decided just to reuse the prop, because hey why make a whole other intricate dagger when you already have one?
Also, I did not realize Per Degaton was actually a character from the comics. Actually, for a while there I thought it was like "Perdegaton", like its some ominous sounding title he took on when he became world dictator. But then his dad was like Mr Degaton, meaning his name is "Per". That is such a weird name, even by comic book standards. Like it doesn't even seem like a name, alien or future or otherwise!

Apr. 8th, 2016 10:57 pmSo randomly web surfing, I discovered the voice actress for Gaige in Borderlands/Lucy in Fairy Tail is actually pretty cute. But then I found this vid:
which I did not realize until halfway through that she was acting out Rachel scenes from Glee, which gets kudos in my book. (Though -1 point for saying NYADA wrong)
TV commentary:
The Originals- Hmm, so we finally learn Lucien's plan. ( spoiler cut )
