Heh, the other day, as I was walking to get lunch, "Wanna Be Startin' Something" started playing on my music player, and I had to fight the urge to sing along, and lamented the fact that not only could I not because I'd look like a crazy person, but also because it would not trigger a synchronized song and dance number.

TV commentary:

The Vampire Diaries- I love how blase the characters can be sometimes! Like whenever they take the killing is okay if its not someone you know (or if its indirect) stance. So apparently Kol has met Silas cultists centuries ago. They talked about how Silas rising would bring about the end times. And Kol likes living (well, unliving), so he slaughtered them all. So now he wants to stop the other factions from getting the cure. (Speaking of, it appears there may be another faction in the race besides Team Shane, Team Stefan/Beks, and Team Klaus/Damon/Gilberts)

So, in attempt to nip it in the bud, he compels Damon to kill the Germ. Luckily, Stefan stops him, but takes advantage of the sitch to imprison him, ostensibly to protect Jeremy until they can get the cure. And conveniently, he can't see Elena either, because he would be compelled to compel Elena to let him out via the sire bond so he could kill Jeremy. And then happy that he's thrown a monkeywrench in the Damon/Elena relationship, goes and screws for no-strings attached fun. And Rebecca is such a liar, she's all, "Oh, we're just having fun!" but you know she's gushing at getting the guy.

Anyways, getting back to the gang being able to rationalize murder- so Jeremy is stressing that he has to kill a bunch of vamps to get the cure for his sister, and Klaus is really putting the pressure on him. And now that Elena is pissed she's being kept from Damon because of Kol's compulsions she's all, "Hey, if you kill Kol, won't that cause the death of thousands of vampires?! That oughta complete the mark right quick!"

Glee- Puck's hilarious, asking Kitty, "Aren't you under age?" and when she responds, "Its okay, I have fake ID!" and he's all, "Good enough for me!" HA! And hey, its Lauren! Cool to see her get to be part of the show again. Anyways, its the Sadie Hawkins dance! Lots of surprises here, actually. Tina does a pretty good rendition of "I Don't Know How To Love Him" for... Blaine. Yep, she's crushing on gay Blaine. I had actually been spoiled for that. But I wasn't spoiled for the fact that Blaine is also crushing on someone playing for a different team- straight Sam. Blaine embarrassingly turns her down in front of everyone totally humiliating her. But, they eventually decide to go to the dance as friends.

But its just not Tina's week, because just when she thinks she's about to have a moment, Sam pulls Blaine away for his help on the Warbler conspiracy he thinks is happening. Its just as well, because she had to know it wasn't going to end the way she wanted it. Still, its prolly humiliating to be left on the middle of the dance floor in the middle of the big dance. Other surprise couplings- Lauren asks out Joe, while it looks like Artie is finally getting Sugar. (though its kinda ridiculous Sugar was one of the girls who wasn't able to get dates to the dance, she's totes cute!) Oh, and Tina's ex-intern gets with homeless Brett.

Back to Sam and Blaine's theory- they figure the Warblers have been juicing, which for some reason disqualifies them from a singing competiton. Which they think also gives the win to them, when I thought they lost because they forfeited because they left the stage? I mean, if the Warblers were disqualified, doesn't it just mean that Amish or whatever choir would be the default winner, not ND?! And heh, Trent ("chubby Warbler") gets the most screen time he's ever had on this show, with several lines and everything!

And weird, they really are trying to make Kitty Quinn 2.0, I mean, suddenly being little miss Christian and loving bacon. But instead of getting with new Puck, she's getting with original Puck?

At NYADA, Kurt has a new love interest, some English dude who runs the school's show choir. Apparently he's one of the Star Kids (Joey Richter?) and another one of them (Tessa Netting?) is also in the club. And it looks like Rach and Brody are fully together?

Weird, I thought the Baby Got Back cover they ripped-off from that one guy was being sung by Artie, but nope, it was Kurt's new English crush. And I knew that was Marley on "Tell Him", but I didn't realize Brit was on that as well.
