Jun. 9th, 2012 10:22 amGiven how much I've been talking about WO, let me re-assure folks I'm not like some shut in who's been playing this every waking moment when I'm not at work. I mean, I still play it a lot, but there's still TV to be watched, comics to be read, tumblr/twitter/rss feeds to catch up on. HA, my life is so boring! But seriously, I did eat out with the usual suspects at Carraba's on Thursday and IHOP on Friday, wherein I also beat them handily in a game of Guillotine, tho I ended up trying for first in Seven Wonders. And hey, I'm going to
zarathustra94 and
turdburgler's for geek fun later. So I'm still interacting with folks.
WO blather- Finally unlocked Achilles, Keiji, and Date last night. Achilles is okay, although argh, I accidentally bought his big star weapon, when I forgot he's one of the guys who's four star is better than his big star at max expertise. But unlike the other characters, I didn't immediately fuse my highest/best weapon with it, so he still has decent attack power. But I just beat the game on the "bad" ending (well, normal ending, its not exactly bad, you win and stop the hydra, but you haven't saved everybody, and I think you can stop him before he ravages the land), which unlocks Dodomeki and Gyuki, who are 2 of the demon generals. Dodmeki's skill is to let people raise their proficiency faster, while Gyuki's lets people raise their weapon familiarity faster. Not that getting to rank S proficiency is that hard, just 2 or 3 levels of an easy stage where you get 1500+ kills on average. But yeah, if I max out Dodomeki's proficiency, I can max out Gyuki's proficiency even faster, which I can in turn use to raise Zhou Tai's, Xu Huang's. and Musashi's familarity to max so I can get them back with a weapon with high attack power.
But yeah, Keiji's still a beast, and his skill is also trinity, which raises the triple attack gauge every 100 kills, which at S-rank it raises about a third. So, every 300 kills you get a triple attack, which given most stages you average around a 1000 kills, you're guaranteed to be able to do three triple attacks, which really jacks up the rewards. So, given that, I can't see how Keiji isn't a must have on your team- he's really good, and you get to do more triple attacks.
