Apr. 14th, 2012 08:10 pmSo I saw the doctor again on Friday since my condition didn't seem to be getting better. The doctor prescribed me a couple more drugs. Some antibiotics, and something he and the pharmacy folks referred to as a "pack", which I thought was weird. Of course, I didn't inquire as to what the hell is a pack, but luckily the instructions were pretty straightforward. Its just a bunch of pills that I have to take in decreasing, staged doses over the next several days- Friday I had 6 pills to take at specific times in the day, today I had 5 (1 before breakfast, 1 after lunch, 1 after dinner, and I need to take 2 more before I sleep), and so on until the pills are gone.
Am I doing better? I think so. Like I said several entries ago I was, but then Thursday I wasn't. But my chest is definitely feeling less congested, and at least my coughs are actually producing something- I think part of the reason I lost my voice (besides the inflammation, which these drugs should take care of) is basically coughing myself horse for naught. But I think I can at least get out a sentence once in a while. Or sing a verse. Not well, mind you, but at least all the words come out. When I get my voice back, I'm totes going, "He can talk, he can talk! I CAN SIIINNNGG!"
Wait, is it coo-pon, or cue-pon?
