I mean, when my ipod or poweramp on my G2 displays the album cover of the song currently playing, his covers are way more pleasing to look at.
Anyways, getting the new art to display on my ipod was easy enough obviously, just go into "get info" for the song in itunes and in the artwork tab click add, add the new pic and select it to be the artwork. And when you do it that way, it'll embed the art in the file.
But while I had no problem getting that stuff to show up on my ipod from the beginning, the same couldn't be said for my phone. I was getting annoyed when trying to get the art to show up in my phone's music player display, because the art was embedded in there, but I had no option to have the player choose the new art instead of the old art. But then in a "duh" moment, I realized if I just deleted the original album art in itunes, then it would have no choice but to use the new art, since that's all there is in the file.
