So the LJ writer's block question of the day is "How long have you been on Livejournal? What major life changes has LiveJournal witnessed?"

Is it depressing that I've been on here for almost a decade, and I can't think of anything in here that would be considered a major life change? I mean, other than making a little more money and having the lenses in my eyes replaced with artificial ones, I don't think I'm all that different since I graduated college. Speaking of, so the JCS thingie finally went into affect at work. So my title has changed from "Computer Operations Supervisor" to "Data Center Manager". Which one sounds fancier? Ooh, poll time:

[Poll #1714035]

Saw "Take Me Home Tonight" this morning, I thought it was entertaining enough. Of course, movies that make good use of an 80s soundtrack always get a bonus in my book. In any case, its eerie how much Teresa Palmer looks like a blond Kristen Stewart in this movie. You'd think I'd hate this kinda movie though, because it would have you believe that, if you bump into your big crush from high school whom you were too chicken to try and get with (or at the very least talk to), years later after you've graduated, and you work up the courage to finally talk to them and admit your crush and ask them out, you'll have a whirlwind night of fun and end up together. Of course, the reality is, you talk with them and shoot the bull, you think, hey, things are different now, so you try to make something happen, and it just ends up turning all awkward. Of course, that's only happened twice. Maybe third time's the charm! Though I'm not sure there is a third girl out there. (Actually, I can think of one, but I don't think it counts if you actually did ask them out back in HS and they shot you down) At least I can be secure in the knowledge that it wouldn't have worked, having tried and failed, as opposed to sticking with some fantasy of "if only I tried or had the chance".

Oh, but getting back to the soundtrack, "Take Me Home Tonight" is played in the trailer, but its not in the actual movie, despite the movie shares the same name. cliffv('What's up with that?!') Also, Michelle Trachtenberg is kinda hot all goth-ed up.
