Since they're hidden characters (in that they're not selectable until you've progressed far enough in the game), I'm guessing they're a little more powerful than the rest. They do look pretty formidable in their character trailers:
Looks like Akuma got a new super, one that looks like Ken's dragon punch super, but with purple instead of red flames. Taskmaster just seems to have a strong moveset. While I've always thought Taskmaster had a cool power set (learn immediately how to do something just by watching them do it) his costume was always seemed pretty goofy. I liked his look in that one mini better.
But, anyways, with Taskmaster having the power he has, I'm surprised he doesn't have the ability to copy other character's movesets. You know, kinda like Shang Tsung or Mokujin or something, where he could use other characters special moves after inputting a sequence. Then he could be a character for experts who knows everyone's move sets.
It was interesting to find out that Dante has over 40+ special moves. I'm kinda amused he actually uses all his different weapons from the DMC games, including that one beam gun thingie. But yeah, it looks like he has a lot of tricks at his disposal compared to the other characters.
